Do we still think they can open this bridge up by the time Potter opens?

Yes, That will be done before Potter opens. At least it "should" be.... but as I've come to realize, construction here moves slower due to all of the building codes & whatnot... But yea, unless some unforeseen thing happens, they should be able to get it done within the next few months since it is only a pedestrian bridge & it has started to go vertical....

I'm just surprised they haven't been pushing harder for the new hotel to be built/ready.. oh well..

They are also working on a new entrance to US 101 South, on the bridge near LA fitness.

Cool that they took a moment to talk to you! Pretty much all of that we've known. I still think it's weird that the view of the Tower will be slightly blocked.

I think the idea ultimately is to have only one side of the tower in sight as you head down tho. Creates a more enticing weenie.

In a bit of interesting things, there has been a lot of marking all around the Front entrance more recently. Perhaps its a coming sign of the future that's ahead?

Possibly! Universal has a lot planned to reinvent and reinvigorate the front entrance.

Well, they had a lot of CONCEPTS that looked amazing, can't wait to see what comes to fruition. I was hoping to see most of it before Potter, but I guess they didn't want to risk the entrance being a construction zone for when Potter opens.

I saw the survey markings yesterday. They basically span the entire front entrance. I look forward to whatever is planned but from an operations standpoint, getting in the park is going to be an absolute nightmare if they do in fact re-do the entrance.

Mind if I ask if you took any pictures? It'd be really interesting to see of where exactly how far its from to the current entrance of Universal Studios Hollywood to the new markings.

It's a necessary evil. A revamp of the entrance plaza is long overdue after all of the recent additions to the park and, in my opinion, they waited a little too long to get this done. If these markings are, indeed, for an overhaul of the entrance, they're gonna be racing against the clock to get it all completed before Potter opens. The entrance plaza is already extremely congested during peak days and seasonal events, and if they don't get this done quickly, they'll be sorry come Spring 2016.
