No.

EDIT: Honestly not sure why this keeps happening. I feel like we shouldn't have to keep explaining this, but not every successful movie should be in the theme parks, especially when that movies is about the birth of the atomic bomb and actual war crimes! Maybe that's just me.

Preservation of sets should still be accepted! Even if it isn’t the Oppenheimer sets, it would still be interesting to see more new films represented.

I think it's just the refurbishment they're doing to the whole lot, most likely for the 60th. We'll probably see this more elsewhere

If it wasn't for relevancy, I almost wonder if they could consider doing a "Jupiter's Claim" approach and bring Los Alamos from Oppenheimer to that entire area.

Also don't really think Los Alamos as a theme park attraction is in such good taste. And personally would rather any new additions to the tram tour have something of substance because while the Jupe addition is pretty cool, it also feels sorta underwhelming from an experiential standpoint

Glad to hear--even if I was wrong to assume they may be finally snuffing it out just yet.

While I already posted it, I wasn't even thinking of it as an attraction. Just having the sets (or any kind of sets) from more recent films could do a lot to add ambience and relevancy to the Studio Tour. And that I wasn't even bringing it up as if I want to see them recreate the Trinity Test.

Biggest Surprise for me was that the rumored Power Up Cafe won't be open during the holidays

Random one here -- wondering if anyone else has encountered a supposedly aggressive team member who's working at the caricature stand? My friend and his wife went to the park yesterday to try the new calzones, and I guess the guy was kinda yelling at people as they walked by? Not threateningly, just asking folks to come get a drawing made, but in like a weirdly hostile way? I guess he was saying something like "It only takes five minutes but you have it for this rest of your life." And then one person kinda politely declined and the guy was like "Why not? It's only five minutes, why say no?" Just weird energy.

This friend can be hyperbolic so I was just kinda like "uh huh," thinking he was overblowing it or maybe misperceiving. But then I was watching this video from Five Fires and I think I can hear/see the guy in the background, starting at 5:44 and onward.

THEN, I remembered last week when I was in the park, I was walking past the caricatures and I heard a bunch of raised voices but couldn't make out what anyone was actually saying. I glanced over and nothing seemed to be happening, but one of the team members was kinda looking out over the crowd? I didn't think anything of it -- like I said, it didn't seem like anything was actually happening, thought maybe a family was bickering or something. Not sure if it was the same team member here but it is kinda weird, now that I'm thinking back.

But idk, I'm kinda curious now if anyone else has a story?

When he turns a few seconds later, the guy on the left side of the screen in the background (black/dark grey shirt) looks like the person who is posing for the caricature, while you can also kind of see the top of the head of the person drawing the caricature off and on after that, with no one else visibly standing or interacting with guests. That said, at the spot you marked, I definitely hear, "Come get a drawing, y'all," and at the 5:58 mark, "It only takes five minutes," which lines up with what your friend said.

But whoever is yelling seems to be coming from off to the right/somewhere in front of the person filming. (Maybe why he turned the camera?) So the barker is either in the walkway out of frame or somewhere at a distance from the actual caricature spot and not actually on camera at any point, IMO, but I'd agree... I don't think I've ever heard someone calling out at people to do the caricature, so this is weird. It's like shopping mall kiosk behavior, hah.

Doesn't sound near as bothersome as the Time Share salespeople at IOA, though.

For what it's worth, the team member I saw that evening who was looking out over the crowd was black, but obviously that doesn't mean it's the person in the background here, let alone the person we can hear yelling. I can't remember exactly what the person I saw looked like (other than being black), and the person in this video is too blurry to make any comparisons.

I wonder how long this person has been around? USH team members don't really do this kinda thing, unless the training is changed? It just seems so out of character.

In general, I don't think it's necessarily bothersome -- weird, but not bothersome. The only bothersome bit is them saying "Why not? It's only five minutes, why say no?" to the guest who declined. That bit kinda crosses the line -- if it happened, of course. Like I said, my friend can kinda blow things outta proportion but the other stuff he told me appears to bear out so idk.

Guys I've had a bad experience at USH lately. I decided to go on Jurassic World, and when the I-Rex came out, she roared and then yelled at everyone in the boat "We've been trying to reach you regarding your car's extended warranty!" right before we go down the drop. IDK guys seems kinda weird.

Hmm sounds like a barker making his pitch. If he’s a contracted vendor, he may have his own style vs past vendors or Uni TMs.

Please tell me you reported her to guest services. This makes me sick to my stomach that the I-Rex thinks she can just get away with doing this while on the clock.

No. You ONLY see the fire station next to JW while on the tour. They just worded it poorly, so even I was starting to second guess myself on there being more than one o_O
