Still holding out hope for that too. Isn't this restaurant still in soft opening?

Yes it was just a sticker. Clear sticker with only black coloring. It even has little black lines at 12 and 6 to line up keeping it vertical.

Here is a bloggers photo where it even looks like it might be peeling

It's just a plastic Mason jar (only smaller than a typical 16-oz jar--just eyeballing, I'd say 12). To echo @Yung1522, if you put a whole cupcake or slice of pie in, there wouldn't be much room for ice cream.

Again, I really liked the place, but the Online Theme Park Community (TM) needs to be realistic as to what it is.

It's not mental gymnastics. Either pay $9 for a standard chocolate shake, or a $12-13 for something a little more indulgent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

$12-13 milkshake or $9 milkshake and $35 of Uber rides back and forth between the resorts. ;)

I know this will derail the milkshake cost conversation, but I was wondering for those who have been, what appetizers or meals are standouts so far?

As far as appetizers...I tried both the Parmesan Truffle Fries and the Chocolate Almond Bread and found both delicious.

I've seen several people post on Facebook this week that diners cannot order milkshakes as part of table service. They are saying that if you order a meal and then want to order a milkshake for dessert, your server will bring you the check for you meal and direct you to a separate counter service location to order a milkshake.

Can anyone here confirm whether this is true? If so, is this temporary while they works the kinks out during the preview period?

Can you walk up and get a table? Also, does anyone know when the grand opening is, assuming there will be one.

Apparently during this pre-opening phase they are opening the dining room at 4:00 each day while the shop/shake counter open earlier. Eventually they are supposed to be open full schedule (10:30-close)

This was our estimated wait time this past Friday night (26th). We went to the bar, but there weren't any seats available. We ended up going to Cowfish instead and eating at their bar, since it was a 30-minute wait for a table.

I got the text that our table was ready at Toothsome as we were finished with our meal at Cowfish.

Opening weekend of a new Outback in Podunk will be slammed. A much buzzed about themed restaurant in Orlando? Of course there's going to be a wait for a table.

Yeah, for Orlando it seems anything at all new is a huge draw, probably due in part to our healthy blogger community. Even the first Wawa had massive lines! I mean it's great, but it's a gas station.
