Those milkshake concoctions make me want to hurl. Too much sugar for my taste.

You'd think they'd give him some lollipops to hand out or something :violin:

Does anyone remember Chocolate Ravioli that was a thing for a little bit in the 90s? Cocoa mixed in with the dough, and filled with a sort of chocolate mousse?

Oh my, I just had a flashback from 1999 and 2001. I managed an Italian restaurant from 1996-2006 and I don't remember how long we had them on the menu but we had snickers ravioli. I know they were on the menu 1999 and 2001 for sure because I ate them for breakfast during both of my pregnancies. Wonton skins stuffed with chopped snickers, deep fried and drizzled with chocolate ganache and carmel. Can toothsome have these on their menu please!!!

Menu looks good! Other than those expensive steak dishes, the prices don't seem outrageously high.

Did the birdcages with the clocks survive? I haven't seen them in any pictures.

I agree. It seems a little ambitious to do that many things and do them well. I'm guessing it will be pared down and changed once they see what is popular and what isn't.

The costumes are supposedly incomplete right now, still waiting on things to arrive from vendors. Some pieces are borrowed from other Universal attractions just to get things open.

Yeah, I bet this is the case. Antojitos had two separate menus when they opened and then they simplified it down to one.

Toothsome is now on the website. Not sure if it's been posted here before.

Backstory:

COMING SOON
From the Alps to the empire of the Aztecs, from Mongolia to Madagascar, Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome learned new and fascinating methods of infusing chocolate into the most extraordinary recipes, making friends and receiving honors everywhere she went. Upon returning home to London, Penelope determined that she would share her love and knowledge of chocolate with the world. She set about building The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen™, an enchanting 19th century themed, Steampunk inspired dining establishment with a façade of towering smokestacks and an interior adorned with intriguing gadgets and gizmos."

In the good tradition of Cheesecake Factory!

I think the menu has a lot of times but there aren't that many ingredients or prep stations. Desserts will be done at the bar, waffles are waffles, lots of burgers, whole section of flat breads, etc

While the menu looks really good and reasonably priced (except for steaks), I would have thought they could have incorporated "chocolate" into more dishes. A dish using Mexican Mole seemed like a no brainer.
