For those of you not sure that it is transformers here is something that may help you see why it can't be anything else (well it can but only if several sources are wrong and Universal has done an excellent job hiding the real plan).
- The location is exactly the right size for Transformers.
- We know there is going to be a lift and the only ride (in operation and could go there) is Transformers
- It seems to be a reoccurring leak from insiders.
- It has been highly successful in Hollywood and Singapore
- Stephen Spielberg even said that it was coming to Florida (Even though he said it was a slip of the tongue and was not happening, he may of been told to say that, as Universal might not of wanted people to know yet)
- Executives have said that they wanted it in Florida.
- The project being in such a rush suggests that the ride is a clone.
- The reoccurring statement saying that it is a clone of a ride that is already at Universal Studios Singapore.
I thought I would look further into the Universal Studio statement and rule out every option that can't go into the old sound stage 44 location.
Revenge of the Mummy: For starters the ride is already in Florida (although a slightly different version). It has too large of a footprint to fit in SS44. Also no lifts required.
Treasure Hunters: Requires a surrounding theme to actually work, so therefore would need to be built in an egyptian section of a park. No lifts required.
Accelerator: It could easily fit into the area although the surrounding area would look bare, also requires no lift.
Battlestar Galactica (Both sides): Way too big for the area, No lift required and has Sci-Fi themed so wouldn't fit in the area. Would be much better suited to a retheming of Marvel.
Tranformers: Lift Required, fits perfectly in the space, extremely popular, has been hinted at by executives and SS.
Canopy Flyer: Themed to Jurassic Park so would be better suited to IOA, no lift required and wouldn't fit in the area.
Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure: Same as Canopy Flyers being better suited to IOA. Way too big to fit in the area. I am not sure if it uses a lift or not.
Dino-Soarin': Once again better suited to IOA, plus no lift required.
Waterworld: No lift required, too large.
Shrek 4-D Adventure: Already in the park, plus no lift required.
Enchanted Airways: No lift required, too big for the area.
Magic Potion Spin: Easily fit in the area, no lift required.
Madagascar: A Crate Adventure: No lift required, way too big to fit SS44.
King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round: Easily fit although would need surrounding theming to work, no lift required.
Lights! Camera! Action!: I am not sure how big it is but I don't believe it requires a lift system.
So out of the USS rides and attractions it has to be Transformers there is nothing else that could fit there. Although those statements may also be fake just like many of the rumors going around.
