My questions are about traction and roll control in the case of Transformers and especially Forbidden journey since they use essentially the same motion base. How are the vehicles kept on the same path steering wise when they are throwing around massive weight at large accelerations? I see some sort of black "guides" for lack of a better word on each side of the track which I have never understood the purpose for. Unless the base is of such a greater mass than the vehicle itself there needs to be some way to account for the vehicle deflecting slightly from it's intended path. Either the "guides" serve this purpose in some form or function that I do not understand or there are sensors embedded in the concrete to constantly adjust steering if the vehicle rolls a slight amount which is unsafe and would never pass TUV inspection anyways.
Let me put it this way in vehicle dynamics terms, assuming these vehicles have no suspension, how are they restricted from overloading their static roll center or simply lifting one side of the vehicle during roll? What constraints exist?
Also, HPatFJ it is a bit different... but still rollover?
