Holy crap, they poured that fast! I thought they were still finishing up some rebar and framing work when I was there and that it would be a week and change before they actually poured the first batch. Guess I was wrong!

I am dumbfounded. They poured 2 feet of concrete and they are already walking on it constructing walls? They are spending more money on both projects per day than any of us make in a year (unless we have a few multimillionaires yappin on here).

Soooo, what are they doing on the New York side? They drove sheet piles there which means they must be digging deep. Probably difficult to get pictures on that side.

It is much more difficult to get pictures on that side mainly because there are constantly special events and security people over there, plus they've roped off a buffer zone around that entire stretch of wall where the gate is, which is the only place with gaps you can really see through on that side that I've found. The only way to really get pics from that side is if you manage to be there when they open the gate.

EDIT: just realized I didn't mention it here, but on another board I said they seem likely to have them poured within a month with how they were moving.
