Well, there's the entrance. As more gets put up, I keep fearing we're going to get that STUPID MURAL GUH. Nothing about these parks pisses me off more than that mural. I will damage Universal Creative emotionally if they even THINK about putting up that mural.

The building was never going to change. The mural shouldn't be going up.

I figured that when I saw the ride layout. Is the mural, then, a result of USH's lowered funds or something? Will we be getting a worn LA-style warehouse themed to be NEST?

And that is very true, Hockeyman.

Change compared to what? I don't understand what you mean.

The only thing changing is the queue and maintenance layout from rumors around. I am still feeling a full theme job all the way around to give a better overall look to the front that so desperately needs it.

The Hollywood version was originally meant to be themed to a nest building, it wasn't until last in construction that they realised they didn't have the money for it. So they would already of had a different design ready, that uses the exact same building shell. Therefore it wont be until late in construction that we will be able to see some different designs come into play.

The good thing about this location is that they could always theme the sides to a soundstage and it would fit in nicely. I still have a feeling that the front will look somewhat different

I meant the shape of the building. Saying that the shape is the same meaning the outside will be the same is jumping the gun.

Hopefully it will be fully themed on the outside. This building will be pretty much in the center of the park and I could see a good NEST themeing blending in very well. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the TF building in Hollywood in the back of the lower lot meaning it only has to be visible from one side? I'm just hoping they don't cover it with show advertisements :P

If the interior is exactly like the other versions (which I think it's safe to assume it is), then the entrance will be in the middle of the block on the lagoon side. Check out the front of the USH version, methinks it will be in the same spot.

The indoor queue is mostly contained on the left corner of the building according to the pic above. The outdoor queue could probably go in the empty space made available by that corner of the building being diagonal.

So, with the entrance being there do you think the monster cafe is safe?

It's been said many times on here that it could possibly be re-themed to the NEST that would include a Transformers style cafe and a small chance that it could also become a exit shop. But no one knows what will exactly happen for sure.

Thats what I was getting at. If the entrance is where its speculated to be then why would it exit all the way back there?

Might help with flow or just strictly the Transformers Cafe.

So I rode Rockit 5 times tonight, and 4 of those were after I noticed I could start picking out details from the short moments I had on the lift and first block brake. You can now clearly see the ride path for most of the first floor, and on my last ride about 10:50pm they were laying down black strips of something at regular spacing along the ride path. I could also make out the lift pits, although the ride path wasn't as obvious around them, so it was a little harder for me to figure them out (I've not really looked at any Hollywood construction pictures).

These look very interesting! No comment from the regulars? I'm trying to decide if the roof height is shown here or if the second floor is really that high up!

^Based on hatetofly's pics, expect the height to increase at lease double what it is now.

That's CRAZY! Didn't think it was going to be that high although I still haven't seen it in person to make a more accurate judgement. I'm beginning to worry that this will stick out a lot.

You can clearly see the second floor. That's where we're at.
