Seems like USH has unveiled a new TF stiltwalker. It's Megatron and he looks fantastic. I really hope we get him along with Bumblebee and Optimus.

I was thinking more in terms of the Restaurant with the Fries and Lemonade. They need to put something there as it sits right across from the soon to be most popular attraction in the park. A NY Deli Sub shop, a newsstand, the Transformer's gift shop, something.

it's pure speculation. :thumbs: but from what I saw on Thursday with the marquee awnings going almost the length of the Delancy Street side and going about half way down the side facing the waterfront it's a real possibility IMHO. Besides they don't have any Broadway theatre facades in the New York section and the facade would hide the Nest facility extremely well. It would be nice to see Uni give respect to a theatre that is historic like The Shubert Theatre in Brooklyn is.

Everything is speculation until it becomes reality either through released official artwork or the idea coming to life. It would be sweet though to see this happen. There is going to be some sort of covering over the panels. The way those panels are now...they are too flimsy to house an advanced attraction like Transformers. I'd be okay with a plain look though...it's what's going to be inside the building that I care about :drool5: :rofl:

And it seems kind of stupid and a waste to take all that steel and make those marquee awnings if they are just themeing the building to be another boring soundstage...I can see why some of y'all are thinking the posts are for cutouts but why put cutouts on what's essentially the back of the attraction and would only be seen from the street between TF and Shrek and the waterfront? :shrugs: Okay......back to your regular posts

In all seriousness, I'd love another NY theater facade, and it would certainly make the shot down that road much more interesting.

I've been assuming that those overhangs (or and least one of them) is mostly for when the queue gets so long that they would need to set up switchbacks.

Correct BJC! As for the theming I'm still hearing a certain style or tactic is being used for the exterior. Not liking the sound of it still but that's exactly it, just hearing a description vs seeing one at the moment. Optimus will be sweet and were looking at an industrial style building themed around NEST.

Now as for Project 007, well lets just say I'm a little disappointed by what was told to me. Despite everything that was told to me over the past few months it seems Monsters may stay?

Seeing how far along TF is, and opening this summer, I really doubt Monsters Cafe is getting a re-theme at this point. I don't think there's time for this to happen now. I expect it to stay open as is now that there's gonna be an increase of traffic here. Mel's is already pretty busy year round, so I would say this needs to stay open. Especially if what we heard about Cafe La Bamba going back down turns out to be true. (As much as I hope CLB stays open)

Cafe La Bamba has been closed for the past few days. Perhaps they only opened it back up for lunch service while it was still the holiday crowd time.

When do they put new rides on Theme Park Maps???

Just wondering when they put new rides that just open on the theme park maps, as I'd like to own the very 1st map that has Transformers on it! So when do they put those out? On the day of the officially announced opening date? A few days or weeks before? After? When have you spotted or seen a new map with the new ride around when it opens???

I'm trying to remember back to when Minion Mayhem launched. I want to say they had maps saying it was in technical rehearsals. Anybody got one lying around from then?

I can vaguely remember seeing a park map with a new ride that said something along the lines of "coming spring" of so and so year.

I have a map from June 18. It mentions nothing about Minion Mayhem at all. When Transformers officially opens, then it will be on the park map.
