All this critiqueing of the exterior, & no one has yet said anything about the fact that there are sector 7 logos on some of the ride queue signs which has nothing to do with NEST.

Also surprised no one else has mentioned something my girlfriend said when she saw the pictures- just how out of place The Monsters Cafe now looks sitting in front of the building, now THAT I can certainly undertsand people complaining about, as even I think it does seem awkwardly out of place & should be themed to Transformers/NEST.

& let us not forget about the front entrance, still loads of work to be done, especially with the addition of Prime, that in itself will still be eons better than USH.

& I do agree with the critism of the columns being unevenly spaced out on the lagoon side.... but at least all the vents have some theming elements to help make them blend in/fit in better!

^^^That looks like a custom font off of dafont.com that doesn't have themed numbers that go along with the letters. :-X

But I will wait till' it is complete!

Remember that not many E-Tickets are located right in the middle of everything. Usually the show building is hidden, and there is one facade. But here, there is 4 different "fronts" and I'm sure it's hard to give this massive building a general theme that won't intrude too much since its so visible at all angles.

That's what I was trying to point out a few pages back. It's hard to create a themed building not only appropriate for the attraction, but for all surrounding areas when all four sides are on stage.

Don't go all fanboy troll on me  remember...it's not even to the halfway point yet so.:blah: pffttt...some.children just can't be happy no matter what  and you guys say that.other site has too many that complain about trivial stuff  As a theme park "fan" do you feel a tiny bit let down? Maybe you do. I've always been a fan of Universal no matter what. I don't jump on a bandwagon and randomly bash the other guys in town because said parks are suddenly making huge strides towards being able to keep a solid customer base. Or suddenly decide I'm going to jump off the wagon and go pro black rat because a building which I'm not footing the bill for isn't being built to my and several others impossibly selfish standards. Point is UC knows exactly what they are doing and just because they haven't released any concept art really doesn't mean anything. They never released any concept art for the DM exterior and it looks just fine. You don't have to like the exterior and can spend your money at WDW. Hope you enjoy their Little Mermaid ride, broken yeti, halfway there POTC,Journey into whatever it is that's there and all the other "charms" and mehgical experiences they deliver daily like the promise of a Pandora  It just leaves more room for me and the true fans to enjoy our parks and our attractions without the.constant incessant complaining and moaning that you.Disney fanboys do constantly.

Calling wanting more than a few pipes, stencils, and a bar code "impossibly selfish standards," is a bit of a jump.

Before it goes any further, and this applies to both sides of the argument, knock it off. And don't go looking for trouble by adding fuel to the fire, Jack. Not a cool move, man.

I'm headed to the park tomorrow to see this in person. I'll get some additional pics from around the park.

I'm not really liking it yet, but it's too soon to say for sure. The park is just ugly right now. Standing on the bridge between Simpsons and the Fear Factor area and looking towards Transformers is hideous.

It is rough and the park is paying the visual price but it will be so worth it. Just look at DCA over the past 5 years and the final product. WOW!

Well we should all be able to agree with one thing. It sure beats the way the building before it looked

Sorry if it appeared as if I was arguing with anyone. I dont think any less of anyone or look down on anyone if they dont have the same opinion I do. But I think we can still constructively talk about what we like/dont like about the design without making it seem like a fight. We will all have our opinions no matter what anyone else says. Either you will like it, or you wont, it wont be the end of the world. Plus no one said they will refuse to ride just cause the exterior isnt to there liking.

IM JUST GLAD WE ARE ACTUALLY GETTING TRANSFORMERS!!!!

BriMan said knock it off Hate :P

I agree the aging they've done helps. But I wasn't really that concerned about the "E7" portion with the duct work. (I know the whole thing will be aged when it's finished). But that corner with the barcode looks really wacky to me with the 3 different fonts. And I still can't get over the fact that it's a barcode

The barcode confuses me. I can't tell if I actually like it now or not. I liked it before the barcode, but the addition of it makes it look a little too cluttered. Like someone took stamps and went crazy on that side of the building.
