I just purchased an AP yesterday (woo-hoo!) and I wish I could manage to get to the park to ride this. Sadly, my mom doesn't want me to drive down from Jacksonville on the interstate. I don't blame her... I-4 can get a bit scary. I will find a way to get down there (maybe during my 4 day Disney vacation next month), at least after June 20th!

Don't know how accurate this is but just stopped to ask a nest TM and they said no softs today-only TM previews. Lots of employees going on the ride and hanging around.

The TM previews were scheduled from 7-9 am today, but I wonder if they'll just extend it to all day so everyone gets a chance to ride sometime during their shift. I still think it's looking good for my visit on Friday.

Reading these reviews has definitely made me more excited for this ride again. I was starting to think it was going to be another Spider Man and nothing too special. But hearing that it's noticeably different and 5 minutes of complete madness. I'm more excited now than I was when I first heard about the ride coming to Universal Orlando.

Does this version have any physical sets? I rode Transformers in Hollywood and actually found it quite dull in comparison to Spiderman. No memorable score, minimal dialogue and storyline, and you basically just move from screen to screen. I found it to be similar to watching a child play a repetitive video game over and over again.

It gets by in Hollywood because Spiderman is 3000+ miles away. I don't know how it will fair with a much superior attraction right next door.

I was just thinking that maybe they can't start any softs until OP is installed (hopefully today). Isn't the extended queue blocked by the fence where OP currently is resting? Can't really start softs if the outdoor queue is blocked.

I thought that too, but there is a tunnel on that side that leads to the extended queue by Monsters.
