I don't know, that glass dome base looks pretty hefty. I hope you're right though as I'm not one of the fans of the dragon idea.

oh thank God. As cool as I'm sure it would have been, seeing it on the artwork and thinking that they were going to do it REALLY bothered me. lol

TM previews sound like they have ended for the day, but I'm not sure that's a good sign for public softs. Still, heading out to the park shortly (rain kept me away in the morning), so if anyone sees me, say hi!

Per Transformers greeters, TM previews done for today. No other openings today.

Fun Fact: before TSMM officially opened, I happened to be in town. While at DHS, I counted about 12 CMs in Pixar Place in TSMM costumes. Each one said no soft openings that day. There were soft openings within the hour.

TMs and CMs can tell you "no soft openings" all they want. They do it so you don't have an unreasonable expectation of riding when, as HTF has repeatedly pointed out, these things are constantly in flux. Basically, while the attraction staff is there and there are no issues with the ride, softs can happen at any time.

The day will come when they do, in fact, have soft openings and at some point that day, a TM will have told a guest that there wouldn't be any.

:thumbs: I can't say that I've ever heard a TM say "Yes, there will be soft openings today." Even when TWWoHP was soft opening everyday, I still remember hearing at most "maybe."

A large group of Nest tms just marched down the street in formation to transformers
They gathered up front for a few minutes and then disappeared into a side door. Kind of fun to watch them!

Important to note that the TMs out front don't know when there will be softs. That decision is made above them and shared with them when they are told to get in position.
