Alright, So I'll give the report first then post the pictures.
Well today was a weird day, didn't get to the park till about 1, which for me is strange I hate going late but nonetheless we got there after traffic, getting lost, and food. So upon getting in Despicable Me was pushing upwards of 100 min wait (that continued all day long). Universal was having an issue with keeping their rides running, T2 was the first to go down followed by ROTM and HRRR (both for considerable amounts of time.) Simpson's and MIB (missed the dang red button!!!! 122, 972
) were both pushing hour long waits all day, as was Disaster. Went with my family today so while waiting for Simpsons my parents meandered on to Fear Factor so upon arriving there I went to the end nearest Amity and tried to snap a few but I was having technical issues with the ipod and before I knew it I had a 5 foot employee with a high voice kindly escorting me away from the area. Can't blame the guy for doin his job, Noticed that the giant crane was still on the bayside of the construction and that the "dam" they had built is doing an effective job at draining; only a few more feet until completely gone. Mummy was not up and running until about 6 pm, got on and the Imhotep AA in the first scene was gone (apparently getting some work done thank God.) All effects were working: fire, fog, audio. The Scarab and Rotating room were quite bright but the people next to me freaking out distracted me at the least bit
The train had no issue getting over the hill and as far as I can remember the best ride I've had on it in a while! HRRR finally opened and so we jumped on as the hundred or so foreigners were chanting and clapping (normally wouldnt bother me but I had a headache :bang: ) Well it was well worth it though, I got on front row and it was quite spectacular. Best ride Ive had on it out of all the times Ive ridden. I got the chance to look over at the SS44 site and as Hateto reported the entire area is flat minus one spot of lump that I so happened to catch before being tossed over the edge. Noticed 4 bulldozer/cranes hauling dirt and about 3 dump trucks as well. Did not notice any construction of sorts but its very close! Dump trucks were gone after 3 did not see them until we passed through adventure way and they were sitting outside the "609" staging area. Despicable Me was very good, not spectacular but I liked it nonetheless! Stayed and watched the show and does not cease to amaze! Overall, quite the day at UNI. VERY busy, and I can only imagine the mess IOA must have been considering how packed it was at USF and how many more people were going to IOA. Also on Adventure way noticed a few buldings, dump trucks, bulldozers, and lights....Hmmm. Alright enough talk time for pics!
Now please bear with me these are not high quality like some of yours...*cough Hateto Briman *cough
As stated before: It was busy
