Let's just take a look at a few things.

1. Senor Speilbergo confirms that "Transfomers will be coming to Florida soon" last year.
2. Universal fast-tracks demolition and kicks out a Haunted House occupant to get the cranes going.
3. Balloon Markers confirm that this will be a 2 story building. (TF in Cali is 2 stories)
4. Permits filed for lifts, enabling ride vehicle to go up/down. (TF in Cali has a sequence where car drops).
5. Several strong insiders say Transformers.

Now I'm not saying this confirms it, but what evidence is out there that states it's something other than Transformers.

Fixed it for ya, and yes all signs point to Transformers, or a ride with the same Transformers/Spiderman ride system.

And Screamscape has been waaaaay off lately when it comes to rumors and speculation, since his site is more widely seen its very possible that UO asked him to try and skew the trail off in a different direction with some mis-information.

So to put it simply, until I hear otherwise, I'm sticking to Transformers like everyone else, where there is A LOT of smoke, there has to be a fire.

I'm just confused by what RJ is saying about the permits. The foundation permit still is under review, and yet a crane is on site. Weird.

I don't believe you need a permit to put a crane in a location and 'do a little prep work'. I would imagine that contractors get a bit out front of permits all the time.

At least things have been filed for Project 609. Lord knows what's going on with Cabana Bay. Unless Project 3429 is, in fact, Cabana Bay and not Potter staging (possible.) Still, they haven't filed a foundation permit or Notice of Commencement for it...and PCL did the grading.

Query: is PCL big enough to handle Cabana Bay, Potter, and Antarctica?

Listen, again, no offense to Lance, and I understand the nature of his site...

But since when is the guy "nearly always right"? The site has always been, and always will be "throw everything against the wall and see what sticks" in nature. He's been wrong much more than he's been right, and let's not forget he's on all the park's media lists. And the parks know how to play the game when it comes to compensating people when they feel the need.

Now, I'm not saying he's 100% wrong here...but it's INCREDIBLY fishy.

So here's an interesting development regarding the staging area for 609... apparently the Turkey Lake address the City of Orlando had on file was incorrect, and it is actually located on the plot of land adjacent to the Royal Pacific, where the 3429 staging is taking place. The address was updated today from "6559 Turkey Lake Road" to "6559 Adventure Way", putting it on the opposite side of the street.

Here's a handy map to help visualize the rough locations of these addresses:

And here's the three different addresses the permit has had:

609_002.jpg

#2
609_003.jpg

#3

So it looks like the staging area was always on the same side of the street as "Project 3429" and the address just came in wrong (as "6550 Adventure Way") when the permit was initially recorded. Then it was then incorrectly updated to "6559 Turkey Lake Rd", and is now finally accurate, as "6559 Adventure Way".

Guess this means Cabana Bay is going on the Hollywood Lot after all.

Hmmmm...Is that more pieces of the crane on the ground there? Meaning it can go higher?

The crane was brought in sometime Tuesday, I'm guessing later in the day, possibly after closing but I'm not positive.

And now the crane makes more sense. It's "permanent" (my terminology) unlike the one on the London Lagoon plot. This is something they will need once the foundations are in place so might as well set it up now.
