Now I'm not saying a certain train located near SS44 recently took flight via crane, but that's exactly what happened. The Delorean is also MIA.

Now, this is me totally just spitballing, but this is definitely odd, and has me leaning towards a demolition once HHN is over.

Oh man, I seriously hope we are going to see another new attraction before potter opens! I heard that Monsters Cafe was also going away very soon..would love to see a Universal Monsters attraction or Universal Pictures attraction go into that area..

just did some measurements. If they take out the Monsters cafe with SS44 and do some other adjustments to the area, TF could fit in that area.

It's not that I don't believe you, but that isn't that large of an area. Just the room needed for the attraction (not even queue or gift shop) would take up as much space as all of Monsters Cafe and the backside of Soundstage 44, if not more. (Although, I would be happy to be proved incorrect).

I think the biggest hint we could decipher from that permit is-

Expiration date of notice of commencement (the expiration date may not be before the completion of construction and final
payment to the contractor ,but will be one (1) year from the date of recording unless a different date is specified) - 06/07/2014

So whatever that permit is for, the current completion is intended to be by June 7th, 2014.

It's not that I don't believe you, but that isn't that large of an area. Just the room needed for the attraction (not even queue or gift shop) would take up as much space as all of Monsters Cafe and the backside of Soundstage 44, if not more. (Although, I would be happy to be proved incorrect).

I mean, I'm doing it on Google Earth, so it's not the most scientific of measuring tools. But with the area around the SS, MC, and unneeded walking area, there would be enough room for the ride and the queue from Hollywood. Now, again, it's rough estimates on my part, but the plot could hold a ride of similar size. I'm just spitballing with the Transformers part, honestly.

The shop is another story, but they could always put it in another close location or something. I dunno.

I was trying to find more information on the location specified above at the Orange County Property Apprasiser site (http://paarcgis.ocpafl.org/Webmap2/default.aspx and entered parcel id 13-23-28-8833-00-120). Anyway, the image shows the former Jaws site as a "New Attraction Under Construction". I was hoping to see something similar for SS44, but noticed the current location of E.T. says "New Attraction Under Construction".

Perhaps this is a mistake and a reference to the Spongebob Store, but it is clearly over the E.T. building. Sorry, don't mean to sidetrack, but thought I'd share.

Thanks for the picture. I think this happened very quickly and very recently. So maybe not everything has been updated.
