No, the second person was second hand info as well. He or she doesn't know for sure either.

So at this point I'm just assuming what I assumed originally before speculation filled my head with crazy ideas. We'll probably get a nice dark ride of some sort here. Nothing huge, but a nice diversion.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I haven't posted on Magic in years, and am only over there for posters like Whylightbulb, Martin, Lee, and Spirit.

He may know what it is. But I have a hard time believing it's not something at least partially exciting considering UC's obvious desire to have this done sooner rather than later.

Personally, it has to be something big, because without something fairly large then the park will be VERY uneven.

You have Rockit, Mummy, and DM at the front of the park, and then Potter, MIB, and Simpsons in the back.

Terminator and Shrek aren't simply enough to fill the void in the middle of the park which is why this SS has been a huge eyesore and a pain in the you know what when it comes to crowd dispersal in the park.

IMHO, this has to be Transformers, with the entrance of the ride being on the laggoon side to truly help disperse the crowds throughout the park pretty evenly.

It can't be on Shrek Alley side because of the Shrek exit, and its not a good idea to put it on the NYC side becaue it won't mesh well with the scenery and Mummy. Lagoon side makes the most sense.

I've learned after we all dismissed the possibitlity of Jaws being leveled for Phase 2 as a non-possibility. I won't dismiss ANYTHING until someone says as fact or as a good source that its not.

Im honestly hoping it is Transformers, UO needs some added kick to go with Potter. They don't need another show in that area, that would make Shrek 4D and Terminator plus ANOTHER show? Wouldn't make sense and so far nothing else is making sense either. Even if its not the same as USH or Singapore I wouldn't care, they need another main attraction in that park because RRR aint cuttin it.

But there was no real "smoke". There were no sources saying TF was a possibility. It was all just speculation.

And yet how many other people have said it's not Transformers? Not saying it is but at this point both sides are wandering around in a cloudy maze and everyone's claiming that they found the exit. Unless it's Stan Lee that quoted that then I refuse to listen

Yea...I think I know what it is. I think people will enjoy it, especially fans.

I don't know what it will be (obviously) but if I had the choice I don't think i'd want Transformers there. Even with a Kidzone retheme coming I still think the Studios is in need of additional Kid or family friendly rides. I would really like to see the location become a Family Friendly Dark Ride. It doesn't have to be a major attraction. Something more along the lines of E.T. or Cat in the Hat I would love to see in that location.

I'll agree with you on that. That is why it is now best to just wait to hear from Universal's mouth, though speculating is fun, isn't it?

Perhaps a permanent yet ever changing 100 years of Universal Museum exhibit featuring costumes and props etc. Add to that a fine gourmet restaurant $$$$ upstairs overlooking the lagoon. Something worthy of Comcast/NBC/GE execs for conferences but open to all with the bucks any other time. Both would flip my switch.
