^ why those and not preferred or premier? This sounds like a result the weirdo questionnaire they did months back and nothing else.

Power and Premier don't have blackout dates. Never have.

It's more likely it's for the opening of something.

Well aren't there three AP's? or am I thinking of Disney? One blackout, one no blackout, and the third no blackout plus waterpark and other perks. I thought UOR's middle was called preferred.

It is, but it doesn't have blackout dates. The Power Pass is like Disney's Seasonal Pass.

Whoops, yea. My bad. Meant to say Preferred and Premier, not Power and Premier.

But blocking all of July out for only USF, when the park has continuously been a lot lighter than IoA the past few years means something is happening then, IMO.

Or they could be trying to milk everything out of Potter and letting Power Pass holders spend their money there.

Just checked my wallet. Middle is preferred (which I have). Power is their blackout. Premier is their add on thingy.

Sooooooo, Uni's Power Pass is the cheap one with blackouts. Sooooo, I don't believe these blackouts have anything to do with SS44 but may have something to do with another thread on here.

I meant more in the sense of trying to drive people there, when they're already going.

Did the same thing with IoA back when Potter opened--dates were blacked out at IoA but not the Studios. This is the smoking gun--they really expect to have Transformers open for Fourth of July next year. Amazing considering the first of August no one, not even the insiders, had any idea this was coming.

It seems a little early to be blacking out that date. What happens if they run into a problem and the opening is delayed? Will that affect it at all? Or is that why they haven't actually announced this thing and a date for it yet?

Or maybe the blackout dates have nothing to do with Transformers opening before November/December 2013. BTW, we still have to get passed December 21, 2012. :)

But wasn't Potter at least announced? We are 11 months out from a grand opening and we got nothing if the black out is indeed due to SS44.

Well, if it opens before November/December like they're shooting for.

Think about it. USF has basically been a ghost town compared to IoA since Potter opened. ANd now they have a whole month of black out dates at the park? Isn't it just a little bit weird?

If this opens before November/December 2013 then awesome! I'll be heading down in October of next year and was planning on just missing out. But if this indeeds open in July, well then my trip will get a whole lot better. :)

"Soon" is a relative term. By deductive reasoning it has to be soon. They're shooting for a June/July opening. For that, they'd have to announce it by November/December in order to allow people ample time to plan vacations.

And there is no longer anything to lose by announcing. Summer is over. People who vacation for HHN, Thanksgiving, or Christmas won't/can't postpone their vacation.

The Summer Concert series starts before July too, so they wouldn't be keeping them from the special events. The only reason is something opening. Anyone notice any construction going on lately? :lock1:
