It’s going to be such a trip to be all the way down on the ground, walking through the park completely surrounded by all of this. Outside of a few concept videos from Universal, we’ve almost exclusively seen the park from the top down in aerials and models. I can’t even imagine how incredible the first walk through the park will be.

Yep, ground level views are much more immersive than aerials.

Ivo drone footage posted today shows that scaffolding is going up at the Monsters Unchained show building. Speculation on whether this will stay beige or get a go-away paint treatment looks likely answered.

If they were just spraying on a solid gray paint, I don't think the scaffolding would be necessary, a boom lift and sprayers would suffice. The scaffolding to me definitely suggests more thematic scenic painting.

Nah, I worked 5a-1:30p. I work across the street from Epic, so when I got off today I looked up and saw the same helicopter as the other day circling the park. Then I saw Starfall head up the top hat. It was only the right side, and I could be wrong, but I think there were people on it (I was pretty far from SR).

I only see the right side testing. They don't seem to test the left side much.

The pool time is now that I am home and it's 82°.

What are these sections of the parking lot for? I thought it was covered previously but I can't recall what they were for.

My guesses were public bus or maybe ride share (orange), EV parking (yellow), and special visitor parking (teal). I kinda figured the roadway below the teal circle was for rider drop off if it's not the orange section.



At least when you're coming in from the far end of the lot you're certainly getting your steps in! They probably decided they didn't need it but I'm still a bit surprised they didn't put in a moving walkway somewhere alone the line.

I think a moving walkway is a bit unnecessary for a parking lot that (if everything goes well) will eventually get replaced by something else in the future.

However, I'm really hoping they add some benches and shade structures somewhere in between the palm trees. Those walks on asphalt at the Disney parks during the summer is brutal.
