What equals Cedar Fair?
I always laugh at the hate for show buildings...even most classic Disney rides have a themed facade with an unthemed show building in the back.
I am impartial to showbuilding or not
Personally, I think showbuildings are limiting and no coaster in a showbuilding really cracks my top 50
I *am* constantly annoyed by the dismissive attitude of people claiming that a massive coaster outside is somehow lesser of an experience than a dilapidated space coaster from the 1970s simply because it's all outside
Additionally, the comparison to Six Flags is strange as Six Flags actually has some stellar coasters at their parks.
"But they have Kia posters in their queue lines so OMGZ THEY ARE SUPER TACKYYY"...it's a misguided put down at best
I wish people would be honest with themselves and admit that this comparison is a trite way to dismiss things as "not Disney"
Ironically, I hope that Universal runs 1000 miles per hour away from anything Disney is doing and their process.
I'm also not in the "if it's a good ride, who caressss" party. I think Universal has proven they can marry "theme" with a more intense and thrilling coaster.
Not just with Velocicoaster, but with Dragons and Hulk that preceded it.
All that said, I think the space coaster is a perfect addition to EU, and I won't be concerned about it falling apart while I'm on it like the one down the road
