wow..didn't I say it would go vertical by September? I think I did. I can't belive they have two large attractions being built that havent even been announced yet. So unlike say, Cedar Point which announces stuff way in advance

Cedar Point can announce things earlier because they are a seasonal park. Most People who had planned a trip to cedar point this year have most likely gone or booked by now. Announcing a new ride for 2013 can only build hype and make people to want to plan a trip for next season. If they were a year round park they would probably wait a little longer to prevent people from postponing visits.

Universal Orlando is turning into a really ugly park for all the construction. The piles of dirt, cranes, loud noises and construction walls are hideous. The Cinespec rigs don't help much either.

For the amount of new amazing attractions were getting though, I'll take ugly any day.

Wow...that's insane! I just looked at some old pics and it does look like a complete disaster.

I cannot figure out why they do these balloon raisings so late into the game. I understand why they did it for AK's EE, to center the peak, but this and SS44 make no sense. I would have expected balloons in Amity two years ago. It's almost like they are doing it for fun, to go, "ooooh aaaaah"... SS44 especially.

Imagine my surprise when I saw this within an hour of that photo taken, in person. I was floored. Looks like the next few years will be fun to watch as everything goes vertical and the designs start coming to life.

The rest of the attraction will be the area itself. Hogsmeade, yet twice the size.
