The only noticeable new thing is the addition to the top of the pilaster.

I'm curious why there are still just the 2 pieces of wall cap on the first section just randomly sitting in the center.

I wondered how they were going to execute the concave beveled caps. Interesting that they had to chop off the conduit to place them. Those OA photos are so tiny. Drives me bonkers.

Tells me that perhaps they were initial mockups and they merely wanted to see how they work in execution before they cast the rest.

With all the money being thrown around, it is somewhat surprising that we're not seeing enhancements to the original WWOHP.

Can we petition Comcast to fund this?

I'm with ReelJustice & BJCool on this one. A World Quidditch Match coaster would fit nicely.

No, not a world Quidditch match, but rather a sort of mission that you have to accomplish before the Triwizard Tournament begins in which you reacquire two lost dragons. The cars are remodeled to look like informal wooden/painted dragons made to attract the real ones, and your job is to get them back to the dungeons under the main stadium.

Ohhh man, I knew the ticket debate would come back.

But anyway, I agree that we might likely see the option of two parks tickets, add-ons, or re-rides. I find it hard to believe that Uni would try to pull the park merger idea. I don't think it would sell well at all.

I don't know... Assuming the majority of guests stay for at least two days, and I think that is a safe assumption especially with a potter expansion. a two day park hopper is only $10/day more than a 2 day single park ticket. I don't think doing away with one park tickets would turn away that many wallets for $10/day extra.

http://www.universalorlando.com/Theme-Park-Tickets/General-Admission.aspx

I just think you would save so much time and money and guest confusion by selling two park tickets only. I think you're going to make more money from the price increase than you're going lose from people upset about it. Potter fans are crazy, they'll be happy to pay the $10. I just think its a more simplified solution than hassling with extra lines/in park ticket booths, and informing the clueless guests whats going, not to mention the poor people at guest services. They would need to add an entire department for people who have Potter complaints because they didn't read anything when they bought their tickets. It WILL happen, daily. two park ticket solves everything IMO. I'm sure I'm not thinking of something but just throwing that out there...

Just out of curiosity... How many of you (non pass holders) have ever gone to UOR and bought a one day - one park ticket?

If they do scrap the 1 day ticket, I could easily see the 2 PARKS FOR THE PRICE OF 1!! promotion now...Since most people that go visit multiple parks pay for a 2 day/park hopper pass, It really shouldn't effect Universal's bottomline if they remove the the 1 park tickets.

- - - Updated - - -

I've only purchased a two park 1 day ticket once, and I really didn't like leaving the theme park to walk over to another one. With the train, that travel between parks becomes another ride, so that's a huge plus in my opinion.

Hmmm... that was taken from the apartments parking lot so they are starting waaaaay back first. Didn't appear as tall as I expected. Perhaps more height is coming or, that isn't the show building.

Well, nothing at the front has been approved yet. Project 7685 (Pre-engineered metal builing system) approvals were completed last Friday and the permit itself was issued today.

ABOVE the walls, I mean.

And Teebin, the building may be taller than it looks in the picture. Seems to me that the plot is at a lower level than where that pic was taken, per the aerial pics from last week.

^ The height difference is only 6-7' in the grading plans so who knows.
