I don't see why they can't/won't have it done by the end of this year or sooner. But that all depends on if the 2 interior areas are planters or ponds.

Notice of Commencement was filed on Friday with BlueScope Construction for a Metal Building in USF. This company builds giant warehouse buildings for various things ranging from the Indianapolis Colts practice facility and distribution centers for companies. http://or.occompt.com/recorder/eagl...8764.pdf?id=DOC1014S963.A0&parent=DOC1014S963 Either for Potter or Transformers (or both) I'd imagine.

It appears they may have no intention of digging up the remaining foundation from the pier. Not sure why they would leave it.

Perhaps just easier to leave a small platform like that than cut it up right flush with the lagoon floor, potentially causing a weird finish there / leading to a partial repour of the lagoon floor? :shrug:

To my knowledge, there is no lagoon 'floor'. It is a natural sand based pond, just like the Citywalk rivers and IOA lagoon. It is like all the detention ponds in Florida.
