You can see that they are extending the ride building.

Yep, should go over as far as to obscure the first four trees on the far right. I'z BEEEEEEG!

Addm: But not really any bigger than the mummy building. And regarding the size reflecting that an attraction will be better than FJ, if that logic is so, then mummy already outshines FJ. And as the saying goes, "size ain't everything".

Just the frame of the building so far is immense!!! As y'all probably saw on my Twitter page you can actually see the frame from the waterfront area in Battery Park.

Big difference between Gringotts and Mummy though is that Gringotts will be designed as one thought, rather than Mummy that was crammed into existing space.

Crammed? You have to admit it's still a pretty big building though.

I think Skip was referring to the Mummy having to be worked around the building, including numerous structural elements left over from Kong. While Gringotts is being built from scratch to accomodate the exact ride they envisioned.

And I was only arguing against a bad argument. The gringotts attraction will be great only if it pulls a ton of stuff never seen before, not because of the size of the building. If they introduce a new highly complex ride vehicle that utilizes a coaster track... then they might raise a brow.

I wouldn't expect it to be overly...coaster-y. If that makes sense.

I've been told it's more dark ride than coaster.

Anyone ever notice the other stuff in the Thierry Coup photo they teased for DM. Their is a binder labeled HP7 as well as a UK Models book. Just noticed them  To bad that dry erase board was wiped too clean, you can almost begin to make out drawings :look:

So a mixture of Spiderman,ROTM and FJ? Sounds doable  Thierry Coup is definently going for something really spectacular this time. ..something more than likely will mix 3D,roller coaster elements and an immersive experience :)

Glad the whomping willow on fj turned out just like the one that was expertly created by some poor artist with great talent that sits on his bookcase. If that is really his office and it is always that neat and pristine, then I hope I never meet him. His bidet must be due overtime. Yuck.
