From what I saw yesterday it didn't look like there was that much work left to do. Maybe plant some small trees,add some sod and move the construction walls.

This is probably something they need to do overnight, and if it involves prepping other areas the rain we've been having at night likely hasn't helped matters. While it appears fairly simple, I'm going to guess it might be another week if the weather keeps up like it has the last few days.

Does anyone know about the construction going on at Universal Studios Japan's Wizarding World? The reason I ask on this thread is because there was a rumour that they were going to get both phase 1 and 2 of tWWoHP at once because their budget was much larger than IOA even though they're apparently not receiving the DC and the FOTH (I know IOA already had these attractions built before the WW, but the mediocre refurbishment and transformation to be Potter themed still would have cost some money). Its also said that the bigger budget is due to the larger construction prices in Japan. I haven't heard/seen anything about tWWoHP Japan, and construction was supposed to start in a matter of weeks after its announcement...

AmusementPics posted some new photos of the construction. Part of a building in Lost Continent has been partially demoed. The show building has expanded more towards the FFL theater. The shingles on the side of the Amity restrooms are being replaced.

I do believe you are correct Frenzy :thumbs: its so much easier to redo the exterior and retheme the interior of the bathrooms than to simply tear them down and build them from scratch again. This part of the Wizarding World is set in Muggle reality so it makes sense to me. :happy: and also I've always kinda of noticed that those bathrooms do have a certain "English" style to them at least exterior wise. ..maybe that's just me though

My theory is that the siding was damaged during construction and because they aren't ready for the exterior retheme, they fixed it.

My word, they have ripped off an entire chunk of gift shop building in that first pic. So, not only Frozen Deserts and the psychic building but also this building next to there. They are really opening this up into a plaza of sorts.
