Ive loved theme parks, amusement parks heck even carnivals ever since I was a kid and have always been fascinated with the behind the scenes stuff and the construction of new rides and whatnot. Sites like this are great, and make a normally boring day stuck at work that much better. Its also cool having others that share in this nerdy stuff along with me, I try talking to my wife or friends about stuff going on and they could care less but as soon as a new ride pops up they are the biggest fan lol.


Back on topic though. This expansion is going to be so great, I have no problem with them having to sacrifice Jaws for this

EDIT: @bioreconstruct posted a neat view of sight lines of the show building from Central Park.

Does anyone else have trouble seeing the pictures BJCool posts? Im using Chrome here at work and for some reason it never shows the pictures. I even jump over to IE and still nothing. I can view them fine on my iphone, not sure about my laptop at home though.

BJ posts a lot of pictures that come from Twitter or TwitPic or something along those lines, so if you can't see them, it means your job has Twitter blocked. Poo.

I usually save photos I put on the forums in my Minus account and then post here as to avoid such things like how Twitter urls are blocked at some schools and workplaces. Minus is just a regular photo sharing service like Photobucket or TinyPic.

That is blocked also, damn the man lol. Thats odd they block that but not sites like Photobucket or Flickr. Oh well, I just have to wait to get home or use my phone to see them

^ What is that music they are playing along the wall. Is it just 'wondrous' mood music? I also wonder why the silt barrier is still in place. Too, has anyone looked over the wall to see if the old concrete pier wall is visible or does the turbidity of the water make it impossible.

I don't think we'll see an opening until 2015/2016.

I'm shooting for longer only because nearly everything here is coming from scratch. Most of phase one was a retrofit, besides FJ. I could be wrong, but I really don't see Summer 2014 happening.
