My word, the pictures are so confusing... some make it look like the new steelwork is right next to the Brick Works building in San Fran. Other pictures make it look like it is close to the Gringotts building and more centered pictures make it look like there is no new steelwork.

Guess I will have to grab my hard hat and fly down and walk the construction site. :look:

Wow. This is totally awesome! (The Potter nerds will understand that reference :P) All I can say is when I thought about the possibilities with expansion I never imagined anything this ambitious or impressive. And although I'm pretty clueless about the technicalities of construction, that building looks like it's gotten a lot of progress in a very short amount of time. And the length of the North Station is just unbelievable!

It will become less confusing when we get some wide HI-RES aerial photographs. Much should become clear and yet more questions created. One thing that is making me wonder, is why the north station is sooooooo long. It doesn't really need to be that long from the drawings the chickadees scratched in the snow for me. I think there might be more to the north station than meets the eye. An extra train perhaps. Perhaps three trains running at once, or just a backup?

It makes sense for crowd control  it would be pretty smart of them to have numerous trains running at the same time.

Or half of the north station is the maintenance bay. Kind of like the monorail service building... where the cars are elevated above the work space.

That actually sounds more likely than another train to me - just thinking about a transport ride like this they'll probably have to make sure it's maintained right so you don't have technical issues in the middle of the backlot...

You mean to tell me its as simple as wear a hard hat, & you could just walk right on site with no ID/security check??

Thanks for another awesome update, TPV!

Because the area is not square or symmetrical in any way, no matter where one gets pictures from, it's always confusing  Well, aerial views should help us solve the mysteries.

Teebin, I think your theory makes sense, in the North Station having a maintenance bay for the HE.

Well the train itself is roughly 225 ft long and there is a maintenance bay extension on the far north end.

Ran into someone kind of in the know of certain aspects of the expansion going on around UOR and he told me there will need to be 5 permits filed for F&B within the WWoHP and 4 for the Simpsons area. I know that will include even a place such as a "Candy Store" since they serve items not already pre-packaged but I was wondering if you guys have any ideas about what all may be F&B in the expansion. I know I have seen a few places listed along the way but I don't recall 5.
