With how sad I am about the stupid fact that there is a possibility that universal can actually be doomed... I cant imagine if it actually happened. I would probably die, and not in the V!olaplayer kinda way either...

In my defense, I did vote No to the possibility of an expansion, not because I don't want one.
By all means, I am just as big as HP fan as the die hards who are hoping way too hard that an expansion is "just around the corner", but that doesn't mean I believe an expansion is anywhere near us... anywhere.

As I've asid before, my opinion on the expansion has nothing to do with me being a fan of Harry Potter. I am judging this from a non-subjective standpoint and I can surely see it happening within the distant (but not too distant) future...

You're right, it's not "just around the corner". But it will happen, whether it's announced in 5 years or 10 years. And personally, I'm a die-hard HP fan, and I'm praying an expansion won't happen.

I for one though would LOVE IT is Disney would buy out Marvel in full and force Universal to replace Marvel Super Hero Island with Mickey's Fun Island featuring the Xmen!

But they already have a contract that Disney can't mess with. And besides, Marvel is just a property owned by Uni. If Disney bought THE ENTIRE PARK, then things will change with the park. However, that won't happen, and like you said, is completely off topic.

At least on my part it was just joking around, and although I can't speak for everyone else, I have a feeling they were just joking too.

From what I was told, you would be hearing something late 2011-early 2012.

I would think you would not see anything start to happen until 2014-15. I think they will ride this Potter for all they can for as long as they can.
Getting the people to come back for the update will be easier if some decent amount of time has passed. IMO
