I was wondering about that... whether or not they had changed the shape or were just not finished with the final outline.

While i was at Universal visting the states, i had to check out the new lagoon wall. Seeing on here that there is more to come to this wall, eg, lights for starters. They must of left a trap of some kind in the middle of each pillar. After a few taps on each one, it appears there a trap smack in the center ready for power i would assume :)

Not sure if its been mentioned here before

Thanks for tapping Dan! Yep, in the early construction of the wall, there were three electrical conduits sticking out of the center of each column. The beveled tops were added just at the last of the granite decorating. They are surely some form of structured cast fiberstone material that has a thinner center area. Finally, those caps were screwed in, the edges sealed and ground, and then the final granite paint applied.

Since "Potter" is supposedly at Hogwarts, does it really make sense that he would appear in the Bank ride, or the train for that matter?

I was also curious, could it be possible that there will be 2 seperate shows for the HE? One going to London, and one going back to school?

Seems strange that you would have the same exact show both ways, as the scenery would change..no?

Both of your points make sense, and I'd say that's why we won't see Potter on the train or in the bank and why there will be at least 2 HE experiences.

it may be the same show, with just a different background...City to Snowy Village. Snowy Village to City.

I think the show for the HE will be very different depending which way you are travelling. Death Eaters attack on your way to Diagon Alley, dementors on the way to Hogsmede.

Transformers and springfield. I don't think Universal wants to play their hand on the Potter 2 expansion just yet.

I'm just glad they're keeping the date, I was worried it would slip.

love all the "Facebook know it all" comments. Would be great to actually be surprised and see concept art for Potter 2.0, but Im betting on just Transformers reveal.

Voldemort's a no-no, Jo never wanted him in the original WWoHP, and I doubt that's changed. I'm sure they could get Dan, Rupert, and Emma to film something, especially for the right price.

The first WWoHP is set the day before the Triwizard Tournament. During the books this time period is much lighter spirited and takes place before Voldemort returns to full power. I recall hearing that it was decided to include more of the darker elements from the later books in the second half of the expansion. This makes me think Voldemort could easily be included in the ride. They can computer generate everything as it is unlikely the main actors would do film shoots.

In addition, I believe they are contractually obligated to incorporate elements from the final book at some point. Kind of difficult to do that w/o Voldemort.

That's...not really true. The WWoHP has no set or defined timeline. There's far too many inconsistencies to pigeonhole it into one.

Exactly. FJ features Quidditch. There was no Quidditch during the Triwizard Tournament.

Not to mention the winter/spring setting change between Hogwarts and Hogsmede (which was probably deliberately done)
