Also, what's the email for guest relations? I'd like to give them a piece of my mind.

You can't directly email them. You can use their contact form and they will call you the next day.

Its kind of ridiculous "they will not escort you out if you stop taking pictures"...so if you keep taking pictures they will escort you out?

Very ridiculous

I called the number back and asked for the lady who called me this morning and I asked her, "Will you really be escorted out?" She replied, "That will most likely not happen."

Yep, to confirm, another person said "You will not be escorted from the park."
Change of story much?

It all depends on who you get. You know how some cops and rent-a-cops can be...

I agree with ReelJustice, I think it depends on who answers the phone at Guest Services.

They most certainly can and will escort you out. And if you make too big a stink they will even revoke your annual pass. It really depends on if you encounter Paul Blart or George Zimmerman. It is much easier to politely comply and drop some coin here:

Use the internal memory and delete some some generic crane shots when forced to.
What are they going to do frisk you, after they make you to delete your memory card?

I would suggest that if you are taking pictures not to linger in the area waiting for money shots, JMO.

Yeah, I would face everything but the construction area, and then swivel, shoot and move on.

As many of you know I was at UO on Saturday and took SS44 pictures. I have stayed out of this except for a brief PM conversation with hatetofly. The majority of my pictures were shot in the morning around 10:00am. I actually talked to one of the security people and she was well aware I was taking pictures of the construction area. No issues at all.

At other times I did the following:

As BriMan stated above, all pictures shot from public areas.

When it comes to the copter, I would do use the $5 off coupon online, do both Seaworld and Uni and get Antarctica pics

Hell if I know. Nor do I care what they did. But it happens. That's all that matters. And it's terrible customer service.

Thank you for that response. I now understand why some people are having issues while others are not.

Except, as we found out today, it's official policy.

And you say it like I have had a problem...which I have not.

And pictures will still be taken. Like Teebin and OF stated it's all in how you go about it.
