Uni security irritated me during WWOHP 1.0 construction by making me delete 3 pics. BriMan and I came up with an acceptable "work-around". Uni traded 3 pics for 300 spectacular aerials.

I know at Disney guests will get yelled at for taking pictures of Characters seeing other families. Like, if you want pictures of Goofy but skip ahead in line and snap away instead of waiting, you'll probably be told, "hey, those aren't your kids. Wait in line if you want pictures of Goofy." Then again, "wait in line for pictures" isn't the same as "NO PICTURES!" And taking pics of other people's families are def creepo. I think it's completely stupid what Universal has been doing regarding pictures BUT, I'm pretty sure they have the right to kick people out over it. They probably consider backstage pictures "trespassing" and if you're told not to do it on repeat accounts, and keep doing it anyway, they can certainly expel you.

Hell if I know. Nor do I care what they did. But it happens. That's all that matters. And it's terrible customer service.

Personally, and myself speaking, Uni doesn't have a human rights reason to stop people from taking pictures, if you're simply calm and non-confrontational(sp?) you might be able to talk your way into keeping the pictures and maybe even taking more. The more hysterical you get and angry then it will not be in your favor.

If they ask you to stop taking pictures, just simply ask in a calm voice "Why?"

There aren't many acceptable answers they can give you especially if you're in an area you're allowed to be.

So, the people that haven't been to the park don't believe the ones that have been to the park about the experiences they have had there. Sad that people will no longer trust others. I wanted to be clear; and I think this thread is a good opportunity to share this bit of info.

When Orlando United takes pictures, we take them from legal areas. We don’t cross into backstage areas, break any rules, or hop over fences. When we receive “Insider” information, all information is presented as rumor and speculation. Permits that are shared are accessible through public means. Basically, we here are breaking no rules.

Agreed, and that is why I wonder why none of you stand up for yourselves and just simply ask why you cannot take pictures when you are clearly in an area you're allowed to be in, just because a mall cop says you can't?

Ask for someone higher, and frustrate them while you keep calm, could actually pretty fun

They said, "You are allowed to take pictures of the park, however if you take pictures of the construction zones we have around any of the parks, the Staff have the right to ask you to delete the pictures or stop taking pictures. Also, you will not be escorted out of the park if you comply to delete or stop taking them."
