Well, last I heard nobody was sure just how the Trike Encounter plot would be utilized.

Anyways, sent you a PM.

I got some video while I was there two days ago. The hole is bigger. A lot bigger. And there's a wooden panel over top of part of it, perhaps to cover up some electrical work? I have no idea. All I know is only the area directly behind the Triceratops rock sign is currently being worked on so far. In fact, it looks like many of the old props from the Triceratops Encounter are still very much intact and untouched deeper in the trail. Check out the video and snapshots below to see what I mean.

And here's some old props that are still in place, including a couple Raptor Cages and the harness used to feed cattle to the raptors in the first film.

Since the construction is limited to right behind the Trike sign, I'm still thinking this area will only be used as a staging area for a street entertainment meet and greet. They just prepare back here and then wheel it out when ready. My guess anyway.

While not quite the same, I thought that such a plaza could be dotted with lifesize bronze dino photo ops around the edges for when a show isn't happening. It's fun to dream with others money.

Honestly, I'd love to see something like that. Still holding out hope for Jurassic World's Raptor Squad (Charlie, Blue, Delta, & Echo) and the raptor stables as the stage setting.

Where did those names come from? Were they mentioned in a trailer?

I would be shocked if we saw all four alive and moving. I would think we will see one with a hint of the other three caged perhaps. Maybe they will rotate four four costumes (do they look different?) for the show only showcasing one per show. I only say this because Singapore is a great show... why spend money on 3 extra actors when a machine and sound effects can create the illusion of them being present.

We learned their names via merch and marketing material. They each have a different color pattern:

Left to right: Echo, Delta, Charlie and Blue.

While Charlie and Delta look similiar in that pic, Charlie is much more vibrant green while delta is more muted and grey- akin to the classic JP Raptor. Echo is yellow, and blue is a darker color like Delta, but with a blue stripe staring at her eye.

But yea, it'd be neat to have just one out and roaming and the others seen only behind the gates, in a more limited manner.

(Although, I'm going to guess not all 4 are going to live through the JW film... but that's a topic for another day perhaps.)

Easy enough if they don't make it. I can see it now. Universal sequel films...Son of Echo, Son of Delta, Son of Charlie, Blue's Daughter "Pink"...and it could go on forever. An infinite supply of raptors & their offspring...LOL

Not to mention a lot of early merch has a red Raptor suggesting there may have been an alternate team member. They can craft a park specific story around an alternate colored Raptor if they wanted.

Speaking of the website: Remember how a while back there was a rumor about a Spinner ride coming, and a ride coinciding with the film? They mention the 'Egg Spinner' as a ride on the site & map. I'm betting that's what was/is coming.

I still want a new ride with some actual Dino AA's and a unique experience. Please, somehow, let it happen.

And... an update!

I have since found out that while my idea is generally correct, the actual standing room/viewing area will be far more intimate and small (less than 1/4 of the space in the picture above). However, I was also told that the overall presentation plus viewing area will use nearly that entire space and that quite a bit of construction is coming.

So, what kind of construction and how it will play out remains an intriguing enigma. I am curious and somewhat excited about what it is they are up to.
