Maybe the entrance area for Trike will only be used for a staging area for a raptor meet and greet like that. And they wheel it out a few times a day.

I'm hoping at least that the raptor (or raptors) are based on the new film and named Charlie, Blue, Delta, or Echo. So it's like we're seeing a celebrity, not just a regular dinosaur.

Yes, the info on the stunt audition on April 7th is interesting. It's the April 6th audition that has my curiosity piqued.

Methinks y'all have excessively optimistic thoughts regarding these raptor costumes... The fact of the matter is: raptors had wider stances than humans and vastly different anatomy. To make a costume that fits a performer, certain concessions have to be made.

This won't happen but what if they created a Vekoma Moto coaster and themed the trains to raptors you ride on like Chris Pratt? More of an E-Ticket than a C-Ticket, but how cool would it be to see that happen?

And I hope those old Triceratops AA's make a comeback somehow.

Since there's no real chance of the raptors becoming part of a parade, there is a good chance that they'll just chill in a mobile holding pen. So, yeah, I suppose there is a chance you'll never see that part of them.
While it wouldn't be as fun as having them running around, it would be more thematically appropriate.

One possible solution to the 'feet' issue, would potentially be to have the raptor(s) in a fenced pen with kinda knee-length artificial grass/plantation that obscures the performers feet.

The first Singapore Raptor video I had seen was with the Raptor in the bed of a truck & the trainer outside the truck. I had actually thought it was an AA until I found out months later that it wasn't. So, if you cover up the bottom half of the legs, the immersion works really well. It sure fooled me.

Or they could just wear those short crooked stilts that they use in some fantasy films for fawns and centaurs? You would have thought that they would have used those in the first place :shrug:

I like them better in pins. Seems more realistic, giving the fear of "what if one gets out?"......whereas having them freely walk through the park seems like something your local amusement park would do.

I think the concern with that would be the wear on someone's body wearing that three hours a day, five days a week.

Yep, we all know that it is going into the area of the old Triceratops Encounter. The area is going to be reworked a bit.
