Well, if Kong can be 6 minutes with its short ride track, a slow moving boat ride can be about 4 with a short track..Anyone know how long Frozen is for reference?

I'm deeply skeptical that Flight of Passage is gong to be anything extraordinary, but everything I'm seeing from the River Journey looks absolutely terrific, short duration or not. I have a feeling it's going to be the winner of the land for me, hands down.

I feel like River Journey sounds just the right length. It is coming across as a cruise through a bioluminescent (or LED) forest which honestly, could become boring after awhile. Yet it is still long enough to take photos and enjoy the experience.

Also, I find it interesting Disney are using kids/teens in their marketing for this. I'm not sure how much of a pull the Avatar name will be for youngesters other than how cool the light effect is - however I'm sure they've got it under control... at least I hope so!

Assuming that DL does open first, it will be a nightmare at WDW until theirs opens. A lot of people will come assuming that they both are open once they see the hype of opening DL's. Just like people are already showing up at DAK now because they started promoting Avatar all day on ABC last week.

A lot more people are showing up at DAK now because it's spring break and the park has longer hours than normal along with a reason to stick around at night.

Some people may have gotten confused, but the masses weren't watching ABC the other day and then decided to take an impromptu drive down to WDW for Avatar. I mean come on.
