There's a good damn reason they shouldn't say it outloud if it'll cause the reaction they say it will.

Nobody has to believe me, because my source may not be super reliable.

With that said, I spoke to WWE's Mike Rome last weekend, and he works for Universal (he was Jack's alternate during HHN 25, among many other roles).

He told me he'd hosted FFL the week before. When I kind of made a face (like "ew, Fear Factor") and said I was shocked it was still open, Mike said - yes, and believe it or not it's not going anywhere anytime soon because the show had been renewed with Ludacris as host.

Take that for what you will - I'm being totally honest, but have no idea if he knows what he's talking about. So that MIGHT put a damper on FFL rumors?

Yea, it just came back on MTV.

It's still a low-rated and low-attended attraction.

I have never seen Bill & Ted so I can't really comment on that. BUT, saving the Fear Factor Live area to only use it for a month and a half out of the year seems like a pretty big waste of space.

Do we not usually see advertisements for B&T actors on the HHN run in? If so could this be an indication either way?

Another thought was Finnegans going bye bye, this would tie in as folk love it and it would affect HHN as Finns is usually a stay and scream area.

Yea, it's always kind of been my thought as well. Plus, if they demolish Fear Factor, there's no reason they can't build another live show venue in Terminator or another location.

Eh?
Look- I'm all for "protecting sources". But when you come out and say:

JungleSkip said:
With that being said, there's so many pieces of different people's stories that don't match up with each other. In light of that, I'm not sure anyone really knows the full story, so I'd be cautious of taking anyone's story at face value.

Then that means there are plenty of people talking about it. So there are plenty of different "sources" saying a multitude of things- but they all have one constant- the ride closing. So no one is getting "in trouble", as "so many pieces" of "different people's stories" "don't match up". So only say the thing that does, right?
I follow lots of different insiders from magic and here- but the stringing along just for stringing along's sake; all while answering specific questions. Why not just start listing every attraction until you say "i cant answer that"? I just don't get it. Sorry.

Fwiw I think it will be a mixed bag for whatever it is. Think about Great Movie Ride for example. Some people are like meh bring on the next thing, some are bummed but understand its time, and some are pretty heartbroken.

Because, for all I know, it's coming from one person originally. If this was a "fill the leaks" situation, that person or persons is dead in the water.

Ok, Ok. I've got it!

They finally decided to clean out the back room at Finn's and remodel the kitchen so it won't be available as a hold for HHN. Sad but it had to be done sometime....

Funny enough, THIS is what would upset me the most out of everything speculated. Queuing there has become a tradition for my buddies and me every year.

The only thing worse would be if Duff Gardens closed. ;)

We always start at Finn's ... Duff is our "between houses" stop ... it's to the point where the staff recognizes us each year now. Lol.

If it is FFL that's getting the boot though, it's pretty much no doubt Ministry of Magic right? So could they be thinking of doubling down on Potter in 2019 to try and offset Star Wars? Suddenly the "Potter killer" is going up against.... Potter?

That would be badass- unfortunately it's doubtful considering:

In that case, there will be a not-insignificant portion of the fanbase that will be sad to potentially lose Bill & Ted at HHN

Personally I hope not. After this interactive coaster is complete I honestly don't want any more Pottah for at least 5 to 7 years other than refurbs and updates. Its time for Universal to leave its crutch and go outside their comfort zone again. Nintendo is one thing but I want more Marvel, Seuss, Dreamworks, Jurassic World, or hell even a Walking Dead style attraction before anymore Potter.
