Disaster was a good ride? Say what you will about F&F, it is sounding disappointing, but from my perspective it is still an upgrade from what was there before.

I personally LOVED Disaster, but to each their own

I mean, realistically, it's gonna close at some point.

What's really scary is that if it's not Potter... then what could it be... and could it wipe out MIB as well?!

God please no!

There's a reason it's not being outright said. By anyone.

It's not going to get answered. Posters are just shooting in the dark at this point, and those who know are trying at best to answer what they can without showing their hand.

So even if a poster gets it right, it's not going to get answered, and no one is getting steered into any direction other than what's been posted to help narrow down choices. Be happy it's something instead of nothing.

EDIT: And if you'll notice - the few people that started the discussions and had an idea about it have been quiet since everyone started "Is it this?"

I'm worried for the mummy too but I don't see how it would affect HHN other than the New York scare zone or the Bar that's located behind it for the RIP tour..

MIB, Mummy, and Horror picture show are the three that I hoping are safe for now.

Yup, in these situations the best thing to do is just read the room.

I know we're all (well obviously not all of us, but some of us) starting to jump off bridges here fearing the worst, but I would sincerely hope mummy didn't get the axe based on the fact that they've been promoting it like crazy lately on social media. I can handle a lot, but just not mummy.

Oh seriously hope it's not the Mummy! I'm still not over losing Jaws...

Didn't universal just release a new ad for The Mummy in the last couple weeks?

Yeh I get your point but this its not often that we get a bombshell like this that has even caught most insiders out and as we're all passionate about the same thing it's easy to get excited.

From what I've seen it's mainly been a few people sharing their 2 cents of what they hope it is/isn't. I don't think I've seen too many people beg to be told what it is. I'm personally not looking for my guess to be verified in anyway but as it's a discussion forum I want to throw in my thoughts.

I totally get why you guys have to protect your sources (and the forum itself) but I do feel sometimes it can be difficult to know where the line is depending on who you are. Not just on this topic but from what I've observed recently.

Looking forward to hearing more.

P.s I hope it's not the mummy :)

Throwing my wildcard out there. Shrek 4D just closed in USH, could the same be happening here?

I wouldn't think that would have as much of a problem as it may be. Although, I think that won't happen now due to Saw being announced (As it's rumored to be located there).

(comes home from a day at USF) Hey everybody, what's going- oh. :jaw:

My quick two cents: I hope this is for a Ministry expansion at Diagon, that they want to start at the same time as Dragon Challenge, thus Bill and Ted will miss HHN this year. The controversy would be from losing a popular seasonal show, but it would give a nice thing to round out Diagon Alley. Plus... I like the nice symmetry of the idea of:
Potter Phase 1: Hogsmeade
Potter Phase 2: Diagon Alley
Potter Phase 3: Rounding out Hogsmeade & Diagon Alley
But with my luck, it's losing E.T. :(

Guess: Double the potter in both parks. MoM takes over MiB AND diagon extends to include that and fear factor. Along with iOA side doubling.

You might be onto something there. That seems like the best way to combat Galaxy's Edge. Double Potter for everything.

I'm sure none of you want to hear this, but I have to wonder if USF is trying to find an excuse to axe MIB? Yeah, it's a great ride, but some effects in the ride are *slightly* dated. You also have to realize that they're really trying to push for the park to look more thematic and less tacky. MIB and Kidzone are the only oddballs that don't fit UO's new vision and the latter is for sure going eventually.

As for MIB's replacement, I think they have have another interactive ride planned (that won't be a straight-up "shooter"). Remember the patent filed by UC a while back? It involved the walls being digital mapping/projections like Mickey's Runaway Railway but the scenery would change with how much you score. I know you would hate this being that it would be another "screenz" ride, but I see that as a huge possibility.

Just please let it stay long enough for my trip planned for January. Enough crap has closed as is. Lemme have one more chance to see MIB if I'm correct. PLEASE.
