ET is really the only thing that comes to mind that would elicit that response in USF, but people have already said that's safe, no?

Unless the mixed bag refers to no more BnT resulting from FFL closing

Personally I hope not. After this interactive coaster is complete I honestly don't want any more Pottah for at least 5 to 7 years other than refurbs and updates. Its time for Universal to leave its crutch and go outside their comfort zone again. Nintendo is one thing but I want more Marvel, Seuss, Dreamworks, Jurassic World, or hell even a Walking Dead style attraction before anymore Potter.

I'd argue more people would be sad at Mummy or MIB closing than ET, but that's just me.

Nah. Not when they still need to build the Ministry of Magic. It's the single best interior design they did for the movies. Them not building that would be a waste.

Yeah ET ain't going anywhere. I mean nothing is "safe" but I think we will see several attractions long gone before ET is.

IMO Hollywood gets it instead of Diagon

Regardless of which removal would make people more sad, those are definitely the three that would have the most controversial closures.

I hope they're all safe for the time being.

To me it doesn't make sense to build Ministry without Diagon, but we'll see

I would be sad over MIB, but I wouldn't really care too much about Mummy. I mean I like the Coaster and it's a really good one at that, but it is still just a coaster and I don't have that deep of an attachment. I would trust their replacement. MIB on the other hand is the best shooter ride in the United States at the very least.

Then that means there are plenty of people talking about it. So there are plenty of different "sources" saying a multitude of things- but they all have one constant- the ride closing. So no one is getting "in trouble", as "so many pieces" of "different people's stories" "don't match up". So only say the thing that does, right?
I follow lots of different insiders from magic and here- but the stringing along just for stringing along's sake; all while answering specific questions. Why not just start listing every attraction until you say "i cant answer that"? I just don't get it. Sorry.

C'mon, man. That would destroy the "I know something you don't know. Na-na-boo-boo." circle jerk and ruin the hierarchy around this place.

There's only four types of people in the theme park community. Those that legitimately know and help others by dropping vague hints. Those that may or may not know, but we have no idea if they really know because they only ever brag about knowing and never divulge anything other than the obvious facts. Those that want to know and treat the former like royalty and feed the circle jerk. And finally, those that pretend to know with a post count of <10 in order to "impress" people.

I think most of us appreciate those that legitimately know and give enough information to explain what is going on, while keeping it vague enough to protect themselves and still keep things interesting. But I loathe the majority that is simply "Oh holy poop, guys! This is going to happen and its going to be crazy. But I can't tell you, because if I did I wouldn't feel special anymore! I'm not going to add anything to the discussion other than... holy poop. This is BIG! Yeah, yeah, what he said!"

I've been back for only a few months to find a lot of new people here and it's so easy to see the two or three that have credibility and add to the community, and the others that just play the "I'm special. Look at meeee." game.

Nope.Nope.Nope I would be devastated if Mummy left, mostly because it would probably get replaced with screenz.

Personally I'm good with any of them closing as at this point I trust Uni to replace good rides with good rides (F&F debacle aside). But I think MIB and Mummy are rides the majority of guests would miss a bit more than ET

F&F is the end of "screenz" for the foreseeable future.

I should've been more clear I guess (so maybe not agreeing 100% lol)

Seeing as Hogsmeade is being fleshed out with the new coaster and Forbidden Forest area or whatever, i'd like to see MoM get built in London, too.

After that though, nothing else Potter. Do something Fantastic Beasts in the new park, but I think Potter rides in USF/IOA should stop after MoM.

Ah, okay, that I agree with.

I don't even think they should do anything with Fantastic Beasts, at least not until the series can prove it's in the same league as the original saga

I cannot even begin to fathom how I would feel if they closed Mummy. It's my absolute favorite. This thread is starting to make me fear the worst.

Disaster was a good ride? Say what you will about F&F, it is sounding disappointing, but from my perspective it is still an upgrade from what was there before.
