Don't think they can use the land in blue to that extent. That is part of the shingle creek watershed if I recall.

Green- New Park
Yellow- New city walk?
Blue- Hotel?
Red- Parking
Just were it would goThat’s a lot a space for a theme park. That’s around 400 acres. And that hotel is a hundred acres
I'm from South Florida, but I lived near and my schools pulled from a nearby city called Davie/Weston that was upper income rural (ranches/horses etc.) in a suburban city. And I had friends who were from the south so I think I grabbed dialects along the way .... plus, "y'all" is just friendlier sounding.

WHAT?! I grew up in Weston! Weston Hills to be exact, went to Pine Crest in Ft. Lauderdale from 6th on up
I went to Nova High School a long long time ago. Not sure if Weston was even around...heck, I recall when they built Piper High School in the middle of no where...for some reason, I miss the Sportatorium.
I know I just jumped around Broward county right there. My ‘southern’ comes from living in Atlanta for a spell, but I do recall Davie having me scratch my head when the McDonalds offered horse parking!
Why do you think there will be a monorailO:Okay, I am forecasting the route of the monorail that will connect the two properties. This is just a rough estimate and does not show its route north or south through the properties or where it may loop...

Because a rail system is cooler than buses.Who's to say there WON'T be a Rail-system, and that they rely more on the use of Buses?
Because a rail system is cooler than buses.
Yes I know but it’s nice to think about. If they were able to construct one it would be seamless transition between the parks instead of having to drive or board buses. Also more expensive, harder to get approval for, etc, etc
Oh, it'd be great, but a monorail is something I have no faith we'll actually seeYes I know but it’s nice to think about. If they were able to construct one it would be seamless transition between the parks instead of having to drive or board buses.
Monorails are super expensive. I would think more light rail or a dedicated bus lane to replace the green space on Universal Blvd.
