Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Construction Discussion

I would expect there will be the standard warning signboard at the entrance.

"Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a turbulent, high-speed coaster experience featuring sharp turns, sudden acceleration, drops, and stops."

I'm guessing you just pulled the vernacular from all of the other Universal rides, but it is dead on.

Yea, but absolutely no one ever reads those.

You wouldn't believe how many times I got asked at Spaceship Earth if it was a rollercoaster or if the Jungle Cruise had a big drop when I worked there.

It's not a big deal, but it irks me a little when they don't just put "coaster" in the name. Just makes everything easier.

I agree. I can only imagine how many children will pass through the gates, just tall enough to ride, and then be terrified of entering rides for the rest of their childhood.

Oh wait, that was just me.

For the safety spiel I hope it is in parseltongue delivered by you know who. Goblins for EFG and the snake for magical creatures.

I'm guessing it would be Hagrid - it would make sense, if he was prepping you for "class" or whatever's about to happen.

Has the same roll to the name that the never opened Monkee Mcbean etc etc had to it before it became Seuss Trolley

Unfortunately, I can’t take the risk of whether the image is real or not. Please do not link to, or share the image on the forum.

Have you ever removed a link to another website that has the images?
I mean, I understand not posting them here and the potential blowback on you.

But linking to another website?

Everybody is going to call it the Hagrid coaster anyway.

My curiosity got the better of me, the concept art doesn't match it up to any of the aerials we've seen since 1st October (Pottermore concept art leak).

The question now is with all this new information does this mean that Universal is getting close to an announcement or does it force their hand?
I bet the end up calling it the Potter Coaster because... well, everything is Potter is people's minds LOL

Maybe. But it just makes things easier on TMs when you call a coaster a coaster, especially when it won't be overtly clear at the entrance.
I remember when Space Mountain first opened RCA didn't want it called a roller coaster so the warning side stated it was "a high-speed, turbulent thrill ride in the dark". And of course people would ask 'What does that mean' and the CM's would state "its a roller coaster." After a few months they compromised and it said "Space Mountain is a thrilling, high-speed roller coaster-type ride in the dark."

Well, in Germany, a building that looks VERY similar to Spaceship Earth called EuroSAT does have a rollercoaster inside of it.

Its a geodesic dome though, not a complete sphere. The silver makes it look like SSE but those have been around forever it seems.
