Didn't leak the lineup in 2016 or 2018. Apologized to Murdy for leaking the lineup in 2017 so there's that. Pretty much I would prefer if people didn't get info and then leak it out as soon as they get it or hint it (It's a Speculation thread not a leak thread). Since it hurts the event...

I'm sure leaking inside photos of the event is pretty bad too.

But that's the end of the discussion.

You guys do realize that by leaking out info (Not saying I have a source or anything I’m just saying practically) you’re not only jeopardizing your sources but they crack the whip HARD on people who work in Uni trying to strain to find the leakers. All I’m saying is please think about who you’re effecting before you make yourself known as the cool guy with all the info.

Loose lips sink ships.

Honestly, I'm more curious about the fellow who joined the board... whose first post was to guess that property.

But uh, yeah guys, this isn't a good look.

To flip the coin, one could also say that talk is only that; until proven factual. Remember my..shall we say, colorful wording from last year?

What we are posting, ain't a good look; and I look more to giddy of speculation than rumors on here. That's different with other sections, but I do believe there is a limit point.

__

..To get back to the topic, I want to pose a question: What exactly do you all wish to see changed from last year? I haven't seen that question brought up, as there are quite a few ways to look at that.

I come out from Orlando to do HHN at USH, and I would like to see less or no black walls, and also if tram runs a better way to stop the congestion we missed so many scares. Also, I wish they would offer up the HHN foods like Uni Orlando or maybe bring in some Food Trucks, but that would be a nightmare for lines to the food truck. But, please keep doing UCM by far my favorite. My hubby and our friends laughed because I got teary eyed about it.

The backlot has a food truck that usually has some pretty good food.

Also it’s really sad that in 2019 we have to tell people to not leak anything.

Well if Ghostbusters is one of the ? properties then we already 6/7 of the slots filled up in the spec lineup. So far I’d guess the headliners would be Stranger Things + Ghostbusters, which means the last property would have to be a big one

Edit - On a different note, remember that clue about a scene in a maze being set in the 1950’s? I’m pretty sure that’d be in Holidayz as the New Years Scene had a lot of really old school stuff(mostly 1920s but still).

If I could change/improve something (I know it could be potentially more expensive as it requires more actors), but I really love those multi-actor room scares like the ending room scene from Insidious in 2015 (Elise's room that had the Lipstick demon, Bride in Black, and Man who can't Breathe). I feel like those rooms have ton of action and make up for moments you miss a scare because the actor goes after the person in front or behind you.

I feel like just a boost in budget would be a pretty big benefit to the event overall, we've gone up a bit in that way in recent years, but overall if we wanna catch up to orlando and put an end to black wallz a bigger budget would do a pretty good job at that.

Actors prefer that, too. It's more fun when you're engaging with a scene with a partner or two.

I still think Titans of Terror, Universal Monsters and the first AHS maze should have all ended like that.. a fully designed room where every villain/monster comes at you at once..

Ghostbusters huh? Im really interested to see how this plays out. Actually mind if this is true. Gozer, The librarian ghost, slimer, the dogs, Stay Puft, The keymaster, and The Gatekeeper? Throw in Walter Peck scare with him saying "I WANT THESE MEN ARRESTED!" or Venkmen scare saying "Nice Shootin Tex" and Im all in for it.

It’s one thing if you know someone who is a “reliable source” lets you give out hints or post it on here (which if such a person did allow that, I feel that would be terribly unwise in the case of HHN). If a person who works in the industry gives you the privilege of the inside scoop, and trusts you with that information, I think posting about it is grossly inconsiderate of your source.

If you want to risk losing friendships and access to inside information to be known as “the guy with the sources”, is it worth it? When it comes to HHN, I have heard of people who were effected by the leaks the past couple of years and dealing with that is no fun. I know Uni is extremely strict on leaks right now and have an axe ready for anybody who they even think is a potential leaker. Again, assuming this previously mentioned rumor is true, please think about the people around you that might be effected.

Look I understand we’re fans. We want to speculate and discuss rumors. But if someone were to give me all the info on HHN or theme parks (Not that anyone has to me), I would keep it on the DL. I would want the person to trust me to give me the inside scoop. Uni scrutinizes these forums and I wouldn't want to burn bridges.

Agreed. If this rumor is true about the Tram leaving, I think that will help a ton right there.

Think about it: they have to rent out the space to use it (It’s a Studio after all), they have To buy fuel to run the trams, they gotta repair them, they have to hire a ton of staff to run the Attraction....eliminating all of that should help a lot right there.

They'll probably have a scene where you're inside a building and Stay Pufts head is used as a scare (Like Freddy Krueger) with a hole in the wall. Maybe they're gonna Stay Puft trying to grab you. And the final scare is Stay Puft again but his face is all burnt up.

Ghost Busters coming to HHN would be pretty neat, whether it's true we will have to wait and see but I hope it is.

I agree with this idea, it'd be a great way to create the illusion of a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. I'd be curious to see if they'd make it a puppet or use a different method to bring it to life.

If GB does come to the event, I know this may sound like an odd thing to be excited for, but having the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man means potentially having a marshmallow scent (including toasted) pumped into the maze. It's the little things ya gotta enjoy! Though I wouldn't be surprised for ectoslime if they use water gags.

Well, IF this rumor on GB coming is true....it would seem very strange and a bit too "upbeat" in tone for HHN, but I would love it. There are some good characters to work for scares. Puppet Gozer dogs, puppet Slimer, Librarian, Gozer herself, if they wanted to they could even include the Scoleri Brothers from 2; there's lots of characters to work with. If they're able to score 747, imagine a giant Queen Alien-sized Stay Puft?

Remember when Murdy said he would be working on a maze with tons of SFX? Well.....

Ghostbusters screams 747 Tent to me. The FX budget this year is gonna be huge if we’re getting this, Suspiria, & Stranger Things 2. But honestly just hearing that theme song in the lines would make me so happy even if the maze itself wasn’t AS scary as others
