Per the official Universal Hollywood twitter, Isla Nu-Bar is now open. It runs (for now) from 11:45am to park close.
Universal Studios Hollywood has revealed a look at the Costa Rican-inspired cuisine and flavorful Tiki cocktails that will be served at Jurassic Café and the all-new tropical Isla Nu-bar as part of the new Jurassic World area

Anymore good pics of the area now that it's opened?
Anybody think that this screen will be some sort of post show with Owen or Claire? View attachment 9886
Hah was just coming to share this.
The food looks like a huge upgrade, but it's a shame that they replaced those beautiful murals with glorified stock promo pictures with filters thrown over them.
Missed food but will be back later in the week. Isla Nu-Bar is busy. Drinks are $14 with a souvenir plastic glass. Beers on tap too. I tried the Tiki Tai which is pretty good. Not the strongest drink but decent. Lots to TM’s answering questions. It feels like an upgrade to the area. Dino sounds and the Jurassic park theme is playing in the background.

Yeah you can do worse. So for 14 you get a drink and a cool looking cup?
Isn’t the background music here from IOA’s Toon Lagoon? It is certainly on the original IOA soundtrack CD. It’s called Wacky World of “something” as I recall.
Yeah you can do worse.
