And if you, as a parent, opt out of not allowing Disney access to your children, then your vacation is royally screwed.

What if I want to visit the parks, and give NO information? Does EVERYONE have to have one of those stupid bracelets? I, for one, don't want a theme park, or anyone for that matter, to have that much info on me, and I sure as hell don't want to plan my theme park visit to the last minute. I want to stroll around, ride what I want and maybe get a Fast pass or two, eat when I feel like it WITHOUT reservations, etc. I really hate the idea of this whole NextGen thing, and I hope it collapses on them. I agree that they should spend the money on upgrading the parks and rides, not on ways to track our every movement.

Maybe If enough of us put our bracelets on squirrels like Disneyhead we can cause such a pandemonium and bring the system to its knees

I'll opt out. And if my vacation is altered even a little bit, they will hear from me loud and clear. And I'll never visit again. And if I'm forced into this program, they will have a fight on their hands. Call Don King cause I am going for a Mike Tyson punch out. :boxing:

I think they are giving the AP a new ticket with RFID in it.

I still can't believe Disney is that arrogant, ignorant, stupid, or whatever you wanna call it to believe they'd just be able to do this without pissing a LOT of people off.

Regular FastPass is going away. And if you opt out, you will not be able to get any FP+. So Standby Queue for you.

So is every ticket chipped, even single day?
You can always get a RF blocked ID holder and let them know where you when you want.

Yes, even one day one park passes will be chipped. Good luck getting a TSMM or Soarin' FP+ with resort guest being able to reserve theirs 180 days out. Hope you like Stitch and spinners.

I sure hope they manage it better than that. So there will be no way to reserve Fastpass on-the-fly? Not even from the My Disney Experience app?

You can reserve on the fly if FPs are still available at that time. The biggies will likely be booked up like LeCellier always is.

No one can ever complain about Universal Express being a paid service again, at least relative to Fastpass.

I don't see how this can possibly be a success.

Wow...I feel ridiculous wasting time reading all of that. Opt out, stop going, quit your disney jobs.

Of course they can. Already have. I had a Disney fan the other day explaining to me how great this new system is and how unfair Universal's system is. They were saying how it's completely unfair that people with more money get to bypass the regular line. Excuse me? Since when has this world ever been fair?

I mean, justifiably. Disney is giving the upper hand to those that can fork out more cash to stay on-site. It's another example of Disney trying to monopolize the Orlando vacation.
