I like Epcot. But I didn't realize how limited it is to satisfy young kids, until we took our grandkids to the park. In light of that Rat....and Frozen were very wise additions. As I said before, they were bored with most of the older attractions I enjoy a lot. Epcot was a distant fourth on their list of the four WDW parks. Not even close to the others.

Am I the only one who thinks of this pin (trading) area (floor and building colors) when they see this coat?

So now that Food & Wine is here, Communicore Hall is finally being utilized for a festival. I know a bunch of folks have been down on this Hall, but there was always a benefit of a doubt since it's a space for festivals and it opened during a period of no festival. So what does it look like now?...

...

The benefit of doubt has been thrown out the building and trespassed from the property.

This hall could very well take the cake for the biggest disconnect between what the media experienced that one night compared to what regular guests experience. I can't recall anything with this stark of a difference.

Absolutely atrocious.

Just replicate that upcoming Stark thing from DCA, retheme it to anything else, and be done with this embarrassment.

I wish Universal was as good with their event stores as Disney is, I love blank slates, they are magical.

EPCOT Dedication Plaque Returns to Main Entrance with New Look

The EPCOT dedication plaque has returned to the main entrance of Walt Disney World's second-oldest theme park with a new look

Nice to have this back, even though these inspirational words do not really reflect much of the park anymore.

Hopefully they're better maintained this time around! They really tie the area together.

It's great they finally got this working but am I the only one who thinks the fiberoptic tiles that sparkled when you left the park was much more magical than this.

Until you are there and they have the dance party music pounding at you from the stage near Communicore. A water feature instead of that planter would have really enhanced the peace/serenity but that ship has sailed. Maybe instead of World Celebration Gardens I am just craving something larger. You know, on a celestial scale.

It's a shame since it was really nice to just walk around the area before Communicore opened. Now it's a mashup of a DJ playing YMCA and whatever light show is happening on SSE.

Don’t give them any ideas. With our luck we’re under 5 years away from a Trolls Dance Party next to Stardust Racers.

I know this is a really random question but something I've found confusing, especially given how beloved an attraction it is and that it was before my time (true of the other most beloved Epcot attraction, OG Journey)...I had been under the impression that after 1994, Horizons only opened seasonally. But according to the wiki, it seems like it was open continuously from '96-'98? So which was the case?
