Beetlejuice will stay I think. Imagine how good of a night show they can do if Lombards/Richter is removed....

I don't know if this was a rumor or just speculation, but some time ago the idea of Beetlejuice moving to Fear Factor's stage was brought up, That would be a wise move as it probably costs less to operate than FFL does.

Oh yeah I know that. This isn't going anywhere. There will be at least 2 more movies IMO but I think this might be the peak in box office sales. Maybe not... The Paul walker thing definitely helped It in the UK too and I don't think 7 was as good as 5 or even 6 to be honest.

Are we also saying this will be a tram based attraction? I hope not. That would be silly for a franchise based on fast cars especially when orlando doesn't have to use the tram aspect. It'd kinda be like making a top gun attraction but instead of a tom cat you're in an ice cream truck.

I don't know how they could do F&F any justice. Personally I'm tired of screen based attractions. Especially 3D. Would it be too much to ask for something like test track? A tank loose in the streets of LA causing all kinds of havoc. I don't know it just seems like every new USF attraction involves a bunch of screens

I would be ok with something like Gringotts where you have the Rvs on coaster track being propelled with LSM/LIM at high speeds and have a mix of screens as well as sets like Transformers and Gringotts

I picture cars like this (solo prefered but i wouldn't care if it was a multi car train) but in an indoor setting involving some heist or something in F&F world

I'd be heartbroken to see San Francisco go. I wish they would go to the effort of a F&F attraction set there, it's a very, very visually distinctive city, somewhere they haven't gone in the movies yet, and who wouldn't get a huge kick out of being part of a car chase across the Golden Gate Bridge, down Lombard Street, through Pier 49 and the Embarcadero? Hell, as a tribute, maybe the climax of the ride could be a race through subway stations and tunnels as an earthquake starts to happen.

They could consider setting the next F&F movie in SF. That would work to keep the area intact. LA is not a very good looking city. I wouldn't want the area themed to LA.

I haven't seen any of the movies, but my thoughts on any attraction have always been that kids love cars and fast cars would make it more better.

Something that has been interesting to me since the new film has been released (from a domestic point of view) is the stories I've read on the demographics of this franchises viewership. I believe I've read that the franchise has high Hispanic viewership and, in Florida at least, that is a big demographic to try and tap into. I believe UOR tapes the Hispanic version of the Voice and wasn't Dusk till Dawn from a TV series on a Hispanic Chanel?

I just think this could be a market any tourist attraction in Orlando would be smart to try and draw in.

Then if you consider the international box office for this franchise, if the new film is done well, I am sure future films will continue to do well!

It's going to be set in NY, but SF would be good in a future movie.

Tokyo would be an excellent choice, there's a lot they could do to build a distinctive area of the park, and better than Los Angeles in the sense that there is already a Hollywood area in the park that takes advantage of the best possible themed elements you could do from that city.

I also wish they'd do a Tokyo land and just have Fast and Furious take place in there; would be cool: New York, Tokyo, London next to one another.

It would make sense to just extend NY thru San Fran.

That has come to my mind as well. Also, an LA setting would be weird since we already have Hollywood, unless they plan to eventually get rid of Hollywood.

Anyway, I hope the attraction will be high thrill. I understand the need for family rides, I just hope Uni does not forget about high thrills :)

(Posting my analysis in this thread and not Hollywood's as it wouldn't make sense to have Orlando speculation there)

ICYMI Hollywood's thread, About has posted a scene by scene description (ride spoilers ahead in the link): http://themeparks.about.com/od/univ...rious-Supercharged-How-Does-the-Ride-Work.htm

This makes things interesting. It doesn't sound like the preshow stuff would work in Orlando as it uses the backlot in the setup. My guess is Orlando's queue is in Dom's workshop and towards boarding Hobbs tells us Owen Shaw is about to attack and we need to move to a safe location. The ride itself sounds like it can easily be done with shorter trams. Obviously we can't have trams the size of Hollywood's, but one section of the tram could work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each non-driver tram section has 7 rows of 6 and 1 row of 5. If a vehicle of 47 dispatched every 2 minutes, that would lead to a hourly capacity of 1,410 riders. Needless to say, waits would get long fast. If they go the tram route, a vehicle that seats around 70 would work. That would bring the hourly capacity up to 2,100. I'm really curious to see what route they go.

I forget, what was the seating capacity on each Kong tram? I would have imagined that is the system they are looking to use.

Edit: Okay, so I read over the article for the Hollywood versiona and it says that each the ride can handle three sets of four car trams every six minutes. If your math is correct and you are indeed basing that math upon the Kong transports then they could theoretically get three or four of the non-driver trams into each scene which would triple or quadruple your proposed capacity.
