I mean, we've been reliably told that Universal has been kicking the tires on some kind of permanent Ghostbusters attraction. So if they're exploring that, obviously they think there's value there.

I also don't get where the passive-aggressiveness towards me is coming from ("move the goalposts").

I know there was a patent for a show were the sections could move/ rotate a while back. It reminds me of the ride below. As soon as I saw this, I thought it would be a fitting ride system for a GB attraction.

I'd never seen this before, but it's incredibly cool. Like a flat ride given E-ticket treatment.

Would love to see something like that in Orlando.

This is what that Marry Poppins ride should’ve been.

Oh oh oh wait! You know what IP this would be great for? TWISTER.

So…now that HRRR is leaving later this coming year, I think it’s time to rekindle the discussion here. I think there’s good reason to do so now that tearing down HRRR will open up the firehouse again, which would be the most ideal place to build a GB attraction. There is apparently talk of anew GB film for 2027 so maybe around that timeframe?

We’ll, it seems like it’s going to be fnf, in short. I know there was talk of maybe a ghostbusters spooktacular show a few months ago, and the universal parade and fireworks show and tribute store did pretty well from all I have seen. And I think universal sorta knows how people like the classic movie stuff. I dunno, I don’t think that this could be the end for ghostbusters, or any classic movie ip for that matter. Maybe a smaller attraction, or a store or shop or something. I don’t think it’ll be that grand return we all are hoping for, but something. But who knows
