Yah, unlike many that was one of my favorite houses that year. I didn't care if it was scary, it was suppose to be a "Fun" house and that's exactly what is was. The only thing bad about it was the fake looking Jacks at the end.
I hear that. And the inflatable birth-canal. I Haaaaate when they use that thing. It's so gross feeling other people's sweat sandwiching your body as you push through.
Lamest houses of the years since I began going:
2007- Vampyr. And I can say that (I was in it).
2008- Bloody Mary. How about some mirrors and... maybe even the Icon showing up?
2009- Spawning. No dead bodies anywhere. I wasn't even sure why I was supposed to be scared of them. I mean, they seemed more afraid of me than I was of them.
2010- Hades. I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but the house flat sucked. A "Hades" house without Hades? Or even Persephone? Or Cerberus? Or Hydra? What really irked me was the misplaced characters throughout the park. The living statue in "Legendary Truth" belonged in the Medusa room where human statues actually matter. And the three Fates on "The Coven" street? Why not put them
in the Greek house where they belong??!
Oh wellz.
My faves, however:
2007: Dead Silence. This was the scariest house to date.
2008: A tie between "The Hollow" and "Creatures." I love horror with a since of humor so Creatures was a nice breath of fresh air. The Hollow was just such a true-to-form haunt. And I totally dug Samhain.
2009: SilverScreams. The
Shaun of the Dead and "Medieval Dead" scenes really stood out and
The Strangers creeped me the hell out.
2010: Catacombs. I'm a history major and naturally got a kick out of entering a haunted museum exhibit.
