Personally I wouldn't mind if Rob Zombie designed a house for Orlando, the guy has tremendous vision and a heck of an imagination. But I haven't read any reviews on his USH houses, anyone know if they were well received?

I was actually doing some research on them since I was planning on going to HHN in Hollywood this year (Orlando is an awfully long ways from SF). When HOTC in 3D opened last year it was getting rave reviews. This year everyone seems to be complaining about it (although it seems like they're complaining because it might POP up again this year and the Hollywood HHN fans immediately hate anything that's a repeat). I can say after watching a video walk through that HOTC was expertly recreate from the film. I've also beard that the first maze RZ designed back in 99 (I believe) was so impressive that it landed him a contract to direct his own movie at Universal (HOTC). That maze was labeled as a "peek into the mind of RZ."

The first maze was based around the House of 1000 corpses I believe which Universal Hated . Rob actually bought the film because Universal wouldn't release it. Weird How after they saw what a huge following those films had they asked him to come back and do another maze. Of Course HHN HOllywood did a WWE Undertaker maze also so that tells you something.

My source keeps telling me that it will be unlike any years in the past with things they haven't done before, what exactly? I'm not sure, still trying to get some details.

I have never heard them say It will be like Every Other year...lol

Well some of the things they've done have been a bit cookie cutter, but this year everything from Bill and Teds all the way down to the website will be different. Not my words again, but we have to wait and see what exactly is considered different.

They just posted this on their facebook:

We are all captivated by the intense desire to tempt fate. The temptation is seducing, addictive even. Our desire to win becomes insatiable. But don’t forget, the house always wins. Get ready to discover your fate at Halloween Horror Nights 21…

This looks very interesting, I know we've been talking about it, I can almost gurantee that the SZ into a house is War of the Living Dead since that is set around the same time as the music playing, and I think a casino overrun by gangsters and mobsters is also a guarantee for a house.

Now I gotta wonder if the Icon this year will be called The Dealer??
