Strictly speaking of the ARG and not the house.

Speaking of the Legendary Truth, does anyone think they'll return this year?

Almost certain after last years cliff hanger ending. I think they wanted to do more but they realized social networks weren't the route to go by just because so many people were trying to get involved, not that it's a bad thing but a lot of people wouldn't have played the game, found out the info and rushed to Universal to get a free t-shirt. I think it'll be back but you'll see it on Legendary Truth website, maybe Twitter, and communities like Horror Night Nightmares and Chainsaw Wolf.

Sorry I don't think dates ever sell out anymore. Back in the 90's and even the first year HHN was at IOA they had sell out on weekends. But no one can tell me that any night is busier then the 2 hell nights and they don't call those night sell outs. I normally get my tickets a couple weeks out but I go early in the run.
Also why a 9th House they could drop to 7 and make one the whole Building that I would love to see.

They pretty much don't sell out anymore. I remember in 2006 the park was pushing capacity so they opened up part of Marvel at IOA so they wouldn't be breaking any fire code laws. Normally that would have been a sell out night but it's more profitable for them to open up an extra section than to not sell tickets.

**sigh**...I really hate being forced to sign up for a site just to see if im interested in staying...

Anyway...I do think 9 house would work! Im not statistics or logistics major but I think and extra house wouldn't effect much at all. I can see the waits going down for each house and shifting to a 9th house. Instead of waiting 45 mins at 8 house you would kinda wait 30 minutes at 9 house. Does anyone see what im trying to say?? lol...

Adding more houses will just make it hardwer to see them all in one night, not that Uni minds.

We know what your saying...But you have to remember that it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to build EACH house plus all costs in materials, to put actors in it, make the fire people happy, est.... Plus with more houses, the quailty would start to go down just to fit a 9th or so houses into a limited budget.

I would hope they wouldnt try to build 9 houses based off and 8 house budget. I mean yeah it would require more people to work them but wouldn't they just do more hiring. Im sure HHN has been as profitable enough to afford another house. Remember when it was 1 house...then 7...then 8? The park hired more people to fill the gap. Im just saying this has been done before and nothing new for the park to do...

They might not have an 8 house budget anymore. They might have an increased budget thanks to Potter. But that's just hopeful speculation.

^Less houses is the way to go and that is something that has probably not been done before.
Adding more haunts will not make it any better IMHO. If they really wanted to up the experience they should have a limited admittance night. I would pay extra for that!

Limited admittance??? Im not sure I wanna pay the cost of 2 people just to have one less person at the park. This is universal lol...every penny they can get they will get. With programs like the express pass' and the private group tours I dont see how much more exclusive it could be. But im going by my experience at HHN, there has been an hour or 2 where im just wandering around because I have did everything that night. Mind you I always get there at HHN opening or do the stay and scream. Also adding a 9th house may not effect some people at all beacuse with 8 house, dpeending on the theme some people wont even go near particular house because of phobias they have. I know some people who didnt even go pass the facade for jacks fun house due to their fear of clowns so that year it was only 7 house for them...

I am not a fan of adding anymore every year they have a minimum pf 2 forgetful haunts. This is coming from a guest who goes 1-2 times a year not some one who goes 6 plus nights and sees different cast and different houses and different times. HHN is focused on great scenes but with the Congo line crowds it is losing it's scare factor. I understand making money is the name of the game but some where in there you have to find a balance and selling out used to be the way to do that. Sunday's and the Hell nights are getting to the point of loss of enjoyment and more about trying to figure how get from one haunt to the other.

Those are in no way a exclusive experience, just expensive. You still go in with the conga line, which is the biggest problem with HHNs, limited admittances would pulse the lines and let you experience it the way it was meant to be seen. And the scares would be aimed at your group, not seen a mile away, that alone would weed out the sissys that feel safe in the long lines. Just my thoughts......
Why not make it twelve houses in case someone has multiple phobias?

I don't think Universal can fit 13 houses unless they do it like this:

1. Jaws
2. Tent 1
3. Tent 2
4. Parade Building A
5. Parade Building B
6. Soundstage 21 A
7. Soundstage 21 B
8. Soundstage 22
9. Soundstage 23 A
10. Soundstage 23 B
11. Soundstage 24 A
12. Soundstage 24 B
13. Disaster!

And 13 x 2 = 26 weeks of building. :stunned: They would have to start in late Feb / early March to get all the houses done on time.

Geesh! Why do you guys think something has to suffer?!?! I dont know if its from years of you guys being dissapointed but im optimistic that they can add more house and raise the bar. Its the definition of growth right? I def dont think HHN has reach its plateau in terms of expanding its line up. Besides, doesn't the creative team read the boards?? Now we dont want them reading that the event is fine just the way it is right? We want them to know we want more...well atleast I wanna see what they can do as far as expansion goes.

(dang, im pretty active today! lol)

I don't care about more or less, the quality is already top notch, its just the people that go that I wish were better. I always purposely walk a little slower to leave a gap in front of me, I WANT to get scared and I give the SAs as many opportunities as possible.

If you plays your cards correctly you can experience houses alone. As I said if. It's not easy but it can be achieved. Your best bet is to do Stay and Scream. Let the massive group go through the house. Wait about 10 minutes and then go through. You very well might be the only people in each scene.

Well 2 years ago when I did the early entry AP thing I got to experience 3 houses pretty much like that, but when you go with a big group of people, its harder to.

Any word on audition dates? I want to try and go audition for ABU.
