It's all in them finding a balance. Marketing has their job and creative is to create. Sure some things are a force because it's a large advertising platform. Can't blame them for that. As long as the event remains a little of both. I don't mind at all.

Also, in other news Lady Gaga is joining AHS for its fifth season. Here's the link to the article:

It also mentions that season 5 will be marketly different than this past season 4. Hopefully this bodes well for their future viability as an IP that may be usable in HHN.

Is the implication here that Gremlins could be a house next year? Because that would be AMAZING if true! The quirky horror movie theme worked perfectly for American Werewolf, it could work very well for Gremlins. Could be a cool opportunity to see some more puppets too (which is always a plus). And as an added bonus, we could maybe get a Christmas setting (like Psychoscareapy in '07) which I thought worked very well. I would be very excited to see a Gremlins house.

Just to make convo, what if The Walking Dead returned but only as a scarezone and not a house? Would you like that idea?

I would prefer if it just wasn't there at all but if it had to be I'll take a zone over a house.

I don't want The Walking Dead back, but I won't complain too much if it is.

I think I would prefer a house to scarezone, unless they are able to do more with survivors being attacked and turning. That concept was great it just felt like it was poorly executed or easily missed. That and it looked kind of silly seeing a survivor get attacked and "killed" and then going back to spot and character 60 seconds later.

Scarezone all the way, the walking dead scare zones were actually pretty great by themselves. A large area with recognizable props and walkers running around? In retrospect it was exactly like the show and that's what would've made it fantastic if it didn't take up the entire park and a house. One big Scarezone would do the trick if it REALLY had to return even though I really hope it doesn't

WD Scare Zones were decent IMO, wouldn't mind to see them back.

I agree, the Hollywood Blvd scare zone last year was a little underwhelming for my tastes. I'm hoping that this year they are able to have a scare zone there that is able to be as good as the Purge or Blood Bayou last year.

As far as TWD, either bring it back or don't. I don't care if it isn't in the park at all or if we get a scare zone/house. All I care about is the fact that if they do include it in the house line up this year, that they make it a great house that is enjoyable for the season. However, the content/ story line of the season thus far doesn't bode well for a house or scare zone.
