Still holding out hope for a heavily themed Amber Mine Coaster akin to BTTM, a fairly large river adventure refurb, and the addition of more streetmosphere (i.e: AA dinos scattered throughout the island and camp jurassic, including the raptor AA from Singapore). In fact, I'd be thrilled if the expansion yielded these results.

Yeah there's a ton of missed opportunities to do things like have bushes rustle like during HHN, or even have full blown animatronics just out of reach.

If they bring JP Jeep, JP River is gone.

I'd be opposed. What's the point of ripping down an E-ticket for what would amount to the same exact ride?

Agreed. I think they should have done the jeep one along along instead of the river (water rides next to water rides just makes no sense to me), but now that it is there it should stay. That would be a waste of money that they could spend on a cool dark ride.

Some of us happen to love water rides. I for one am still upset that we don't have even one water ride in the Studios anymore. JP River Adventure IS the Jurassic Park ride to me. I couldn't envision it any other way now.

It's been said many times the jeep ride isn't happening. No other park has a jeep variation. It'd be the same plot. I don't know why people cry foul on something like Transformers/Spiderman being the same, or too many screen based rides, while praising a concept that has the same exact plot of an already existing ride, with the same exact thrill/height range. I would much rather see any new space utilized to add more new types of rides to the park, which thankfully it seems we're definitely getting.

There are far too many water rides in that area of the park, no doubt.

But if anything should be knocked down and replaced it should be Dudley.

They put them together because people who ride water rides like to do them all in a row. No one wants to get wet, dry off, get wet again over and over all day. This also helps keep these people in one area of the park so there are not people soaking wet all over the park. It would be a horrible idea to scatter the water rides all over the park.

Hmmm. Not sure how to feel about this statement. I see your point though. Although I think if a person likes water rides it doesn't matter (especially in Florida summer months) where they are as long as they can reach them. But I do however understand the part of putting them altogether so one could simply "Get the water rides out the way". Once one is usually wet they will likely not mind remaining wet getting on another water ride.

Agreed. I don't care if the same story line is implemented in both a jeep and river adventure ride. Long as one has a climax or two climaxes or some kind of variation of the climax. I think most normal people wouldn't care lol.

But the issue is that people that don't want water rides or it is too cold for water rides, an entire section is skipped as a walk thru. I think that is how Jurassic park kid area is so unknown to most people, because they skip Toon Town and JP all together and sometimes don't even walk thru it. They go to Marvel area and then head over to suess, never touching that section of the park. Bad for crowd flow and makes the park look smaller.

I just don't see how it's a good idea to scatter your water rides. I will agree though it would be nice if they added a few dry rides over there, but see no reason to move a water ride or get rid of one.

But on the hot days those rides pull huge crowds. When a family gets soaked and they finally dry up just to walk up to the next water ride, they're not going to get wet again. And while you're right that it's skipped on cold days, it won't make a difference whether it's skipped in one section or 3. And besides there is a lot more hot days then cold.

I don't consider Jurassic Park River Adventure to be a "true" water ride. Sure it's in water and there's a big splash, but the chance of getting wet is hit or miss. Plus, it's main purpose is not to completely soak you like Dudley and Popeye's is.
