It's like the complete opposite of what Universal usually does. It's too restrictive in the opposite ways.

Plus its capacity is straight up awful.

Agreed on all accounts but for the time being it still serves its purpose

Oh, I agree with that. But if the expansion goes the way we think, I'd like to see it taken down for aesthetic purposes.

I like to see them rebuild the ride so everyone can go on.

The ride doesn't have the restrictions for the reasons you'd think.

It actually just has such awful capacity that they needed to limit it as much as possible, and making it for kids and parents is the best way to do so.

I was thinking they could make new cars to fit 4 to 6 people. If they need to, they can replace the track/rails with bigger and stronger ones.

Edit: Though that depends on the budget. However, it fits the need for a family ride.

After watching Jurassic Park 3D for the first time today, must say I'm open to any and everything . The River Adventure (while I love water rides) takes from a true experience of JP! Nothing like the movie.

Yes, the ride was fun when it was open to everyone. But it is just not worth a wait over 30 min, and it was getting to be an hour or two or more before they started restricting it. I know I for one would like there to be a way for it to be open to me again, as long as they can keep the lines moving.

What is weird to is I remember a time where if you went straight there in the morning (especially in a slower season) since no one was back there yet they would let anyone on. In more recent years the people seem to uphold the policy. They are just doing their job but it is funny since the onyl reason for the restriction is the capacity.

Ive only ridden them once and they werent that great but they do offer something that everyone is so aiming at Universal for---A ride solely suited for kids.

Not what I want. I want a family ride everyone can ride on and this does not qualify as that. In fact if you are too short you can't go on and if you are too tall you can't go on. I wouldn't mind a replacement, BUT I do want to ride it just once before that happens!!! My daughter has one more inch and then she can ride it.

I always thought the flyers were restricted to who could ride on them

I remember going one year and just going to have a look at them as I had never seen them only to have myself and dad turned away at the entrance by a cast member has we were "far to old and not suitable for the ride"

When I asked a guest relations later in the day we were told adults are only allowed to ride if they are accompanying a child under the age of 10.

Honestly now knowing what i know i thought it wasn't a huge ride I just assumed it was another one like woodys coaster or the unicorn coaster.

I couldn't find this posted anywhere else, but I didn't want to start a new thread. But how cool would some of these raptor suits be for a M&G/ walk around character as part of the JP expansion! Anyways I thought they are pretty neat and never knew they were used for the film.

I think those flyers could have been even better with what surrounds it. They could use some more dips and little drops but It would've neat to have it go in some of the caves so when you walked through the cave area you could see the flyers above you. And maybe have a AA pterodactyl or two in the caves. Even though I don't see the flyers ever going through the caves I think AA Dinos in Camp Jurassic is a possibility in the expansion plans.

Those were very cool! But if I remember correctly they only covered from about the shoulders up. I would love to see a full body suit though, out walking around for some pics.

These are cool, but the legs kill the effect.

I'd love to see Camp Jurassic Caves expanded (especially the sauna room) My younger brother loves it in there.
